Mata does not have half the workrate needed to be a regular in a jose team. I am not even going to compare koke with the likes of oscar and salahahahahhahahaha. Kdb was not given a fait chance. Its wrong to say he did not work in jose's system.

12 games under RDM 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses in PL which includes the farcial united loss. 12 games 24 points while playong united, pool at home and spurs and arsenal away. We ended up with 75 points in 38 games which means FSW gave us 51 points in 26 games. Which is lesser than RDM's average. I am not sure how people are coming up with "fsw gave us stability" and "fsw was better than rdm". That's wrong. We were below average in every department under FSW. as for the united game there front 6 was hernandez, welbeck, gigs, nani, fletcher and anderson. If that is there reserves, then so is piazon, sturridge, moses, romeu, mikel, bert, azpi. And that was my point. If they played there reserves, so did we. Lets not act like we played our first team. Even on paper, those teams look pretty equal and if u consider the amount of experience in the united squad, they would be a step ahead of what we had put in on the day.

i am taking offense cos you are taking 1 adding 1 to it and repeatedly coming up with 43. we dont park the bus in majority of the games. infact except for city away, we did not "park the bus" in any game until the turn of the year. city(h&a), psg(a), spurs(final), pool(league cup).. all in all you can count the number of games on your fingers in which we went with that mentality. and then comes the point of the games, where we ARE parking the bus. koke is still better suited in that aspect of the game than oscar. moreover he has shown in the last 2 years, that he is more than just well suited. having an opinion is fine but repeatedly iterating that opinion without any proof or argument is bordering on....
-
i know. but hopefully we can milk it to the max. cech is still world class and if spurs/arsenal want him, that adds 5mil to whatever his actual value is.
-
oh well.. no problem. u can have your "opinion" about turan as for koke. i have not just said that its my opinion, but also why that is my "opinion". where as al you have done is stated your "opinion" which is "koke would not fit in"
-
have you ever seen turan play??? there is no comparision between the 2 players defensively as willian is a complete work horse but turan is a brilliant RW/forward. i honestly doubt you have seen either of koke/turan play if you say something like "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence",
-
ATM "park the bus" as much as chelsea do. the difference is, koke and turan and greizemann are brilliant in counters. there decision making is a 100 times better than willian/oscar, their vision is a 100 times better than willian and oscar and their ball retention under pressure is better than willian and oscar. ps - so there u go, koke will be a lot more suited to our "system" than oscar.
-
the difference is that hazard was a newbie and that too a 21 year old newbie player. i simply dont believe that when we had bought hazard, we would have given him 185kpw. on the other hand, if you ask me now, i think hazard might be earning 200kpw cos he is one of the best players in the world and without the doubt the best in PL. same goes for rooney. jose had made it a 100% clear that we wanted rooney. that was when (i think) that rooney signed a new contract which was already 200+kpw, so it makes sense that he might be making that insane money.
-
so simeone does not "park the bus"?? what exactly did he do against barca in CL last season or RM in the final or against juve or etv etc etc..
-
i wont be surprised. young "english" player who has some credentials. so even if in reality it is 20-80 in favor of eden, i expect kane to get the poty.
-
20mil and he is yours.
-
yes he does. koke is an exceptional player. he has everything in his arsenal that oscar has (workrate and defending) along with an immense range of passing and good vision, quick one touch passing. his set piece delivery is one of the best i have seen.
-
spurs and arsenal... time for a bidding war!!! and the bidding starts from 20mil atleast!!!
-
his contract got renewed so it would make sense to remove a couple of clauses. also, hazard making 200k was just media nonsense.

round of 16 in CL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> winning europa. so no, it does not make the 12-13 season better than 13-14. it does not even come close for me. again, you seem to be counting "dark" times in silverware and trophies, i am not. from 2006-09 we were one of the powerhouses in european football. the atmosphere, the directionlessness, the performances by the players, the club's insistence with torres, that is all that makes me think of 12-13 as the dark times. a simple question, if jose had not been available at that point of time, who would we have got as our manager. FSW was tagged as "interim" and moreover he did not do anything to guarantee an extension. that was the state of the club then. we were desperate and should count our blessings that in our direst need, we got the best manager of the world.

i am sorry but i dont agree with anything. how was rdm wrong? what did fsw do that rdm did not? did we see fsw give us an identity? make us defensively solid? give us a platform to build our next season? we were 2nd in PL with 4 points behind united which included one of the most biased refreed games i have seen in football (against united at home). in CL, we had a tough group and we got owned. but dont forget that we were almost knocked out of the group stages the year ago too. also, against the supposed united reserves did not we play the likes of bertrand, romeu, moses, sturridge, piazon, azpi (who was far from a starter at that point of time).

i think u misunderstood me. it was not before. i am talking about the 11-12 season where we won the fa and CL double with almost the same group of 10-11 players. the only players to have a substantial amount of contribution who were not in our 10-11 squad was mata and even his was minimal. the 12-13 period for me was the darkest era. firing our cl winning manager when we were 2nd in PL coupled with fsw's appointment, our absolute lack of identity, half hearted displays, asenine subs, that performance against QPR at home, idiotic transfers like marin and average ones like moses. all in all, it looked the bleakest moment for me,

i agree about no inspiration and excitement. but dont forget that when that same group of players were given the motivation, we won an fa cup and CL double. that team had character and balls.

defensively azpi IS light years better
-
there is always hope that jose somehow sees what is so evident.
-
best case scenario for sales cech - 15mil moses - 10mil mikel - 8mil romeu/mvg - 5mil ramires - 15mil oscar - 30mil kakuta - 2mil marin - 3mil so about 90mil. which would be like half the messi's transfer value. neither bale nor messi is a realistic option.
-
why? we have azpi who is light years better.
-
another average player. we have willian, cuadrado for RW. so please no.
-
and that is never going to happen. so in short, FFP is useless.
