how valid those stats are can be seen by the very small stat like MOTM at the end of that pic. oscar has 1 MOTM while KOKE even being lesser on most of the stats has 3. thats how useful stats are.

he is one of the best defenders in the world. considering reus is 50mil pounds, hummels is easily 30mil pounds. also, he is just 26.

just to put things into perspective. top of the table since day1 64 goals scored in 31 games (1goal behind city with a game in hand) 26 goals conceded in 31 games (2nd only to soton's 22) best GD (+38) in the league. 73 points in 31 games and on course to go beyond 90. just 2(take a second to let that sink in) defeats in the league. i honestly am baffled at the amount of criticism. now dont get me wrong. i know we have not been playing as well as we should be. but reading the posts on here, you would think we were fighting in the relegation. i mean i dont get what people want. this team has shown how it can play and not just for a couple of matches but half of the season. you have to take into account the fact that this is still a young team with almost no experience of winning a league whatsoever (remy, costa[won once], cesc[with arsenal], matic[just once], hazard, oscar, azpi, cahill). the pressure is showing on the players and even our manager. yet, we have not crumbled under the pressure like the likes of arsenal and city. we have actually risen to the occasion and grinded out the results. and thats what league football is all about. thats the stuff champions are made of. while we should be applauding the players' and managers' winning mentality and the amazing character that we are showing, our own "fans" are critisizing him so vehemently that after reading some of the pages on here, i have to actually see the PL table again to realize that we are indeed running away with the PL. i am sorry but we are probably one of the worst set of fans in the world or its just that the posters on here are all a bunch of trolls and cry-babies.

i honestly dont know what people watch. do they understand the difference in chelsea and atm. atm play with 2 up top (greizemann and mario). koke plays more as a LM/LCM cos turan is another player who is more of a forward than a mid. yet, his link up play is an absolute DELIGHT to watch. to even compare him to oscar is :lol: if we buy him it would be as a B2B or a pivot player. his defensive side of the game is so underrated as is his link up play. his range of passing is absolutely brilliant and he would be a great DLP for us. or someone who can cover for cesc as well as maintain our stability.

so shifting a CAM into a RWB is your condition of judging how well a player was/is doing and that too in half a season. oscar has had 2 complete seasons as a CAM and we are still unsure of him.wait, not unsure, i would say most of us have given up on him. well, even jose made the mistake of putting all his eggs in oscar's basket and right now we are looking to simply be rid of oscar. there are lotteries like how players like oscar/thorgan will develop. its not a lottery to let go of someone like mata and replace him with salah. "bagging goals". the guy has scored 7 times and assisted 8 times in 2683 minutes all the bloody season long @179minutes/goalorassist. mata on the other hand has 9 goals and 4 assists in 1965 minutes @ 151minutes. playing the majority of the season as RW compared to oscar as a CAM as for the team which has the most number of goals. when mata was not getting a minute at OT, we were laughing our asses off at LVG who was stupid enough to play the likes of adnan ahead of mata. as soon as mata has started getting proper gametime, united have been a different team. that does not really sound like selective memory to me.

AND we can still win the games that we should be winning even when we are not playing at our best. fellaini was brilliant against city but lets not forget that city play like a mindless mob. no proper DM and toure is a shade of a player he was. fellaini would be occupied by matic or mikel/zouma. i would honestly prefer if we play 2 proper DMs (either of zouma/mikel pairing up with matic). my preference would be mikel as zouma has been caught under the ball a couple of times this season and its fellaini's aerial pr courtois iva GC JT azpi mikel matic willian cesc hazard remy does anyone know whats remy's situation? also, cesc really needs to pucker up. needs to put in an early season performance.
