  1. Most case is that a lot of guys overestimate their reach. Many guys have big egos based on an inflated self image of themselves. Sad part is that they think if they believe it that they can actually pull it off. Cockiness =/= confidence.
  2. hehe obviously but who you think it will be?
  3. You are right my friend, it would be too good to be true. He is talking about rumors and him being linked to Chelsea.
  4. Something to think about. It has English subtitles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaE8H8udJPg
  5. Hull City promoted to Premier League along side Cardiff. Who will be the third?
  6. Percussive action - a term for hitting something until it starts working again. Alteast now we know the remedy for lack of self confidence. Though, they have been subpar teams to be fair.
  7. Exactly. Plus I can't say I felt secure when Turnbull bossed the 6 yard box while Cech was out injured.
  8. Have you got a link with full story mate? Haven't heard anything about this.
  9. Hatred makes one blind. The negativity has been one sided and coming from the fans alone. Haven't seen a single huge rift in the player department. We were a sinking ship already when RdM was sacked, regardless if we were 4 pts off or not. It is very hard to be off with 20 points so early in the season, but the eventual gap would have been similar to the current one. Plus you have to understand that due to the negativity form us, the fans, there was no honeymoon phase. ManUtd were very stable this season, we aren't the only ones behind them by a mile. A strong ManCity, Tottenham, Arsenal are all playing second fiddle to them this season. You can be right, but most probably not about JT being the savior against Liverpool, fact is, had Ivanovic marked Suarez tighter, none of this would have happened, not to mention having to play minutes over the initial given extra time. During the weak, weak surrender of the FAcup we beat the reigning England champions and lost to the former reigning champions by narrowest of margins in the semi-finals. Sure, we have have gone out of many competitions this year that we could have won but Rafa, players and RdM have all their fair share of blame. Losing Community shield, Super Cup, making other kind of history in the CL group stages, losing points early on against QPR,WBA has nothing to do with Rafa, as much as RdM has nothing to with our historic conquers in the Club World Cup etc. If we finish TOP4 and win Europa League, it is better than nothing and for me it has been unfortunate but a good season. This year has been more about us coping without the likes of JT, Lamps, Cole -who were injured for a long period of time or not in form- and not about the likes of Mata, Oscar and Hazard forming a partnership upfront with strikers we don't have. Though, haven't you wondered what if the 'number of fans on the radio' are right, what if you are a bit harsh and biased?
  10. First of all, saying sorry, didn't mean to get that personal. It's some kind of epidemic for our fans to boo the manager as soon as first signs of shit hitting the fan occur. Though, when everything is fine, games going our way - players are doing a great job, but no mention for the manager. I'm not only talking about Rafa. I've been on this forum 3 years (before a mathematician starts to yell out for injustice, I lurked the first year without actually registering an account) and this trend was when other managers were in charge. For example under Ancelotti we won the league, cup, scored record amount of goals, played a winning football but still there were people who were adamant he should be sacked after a trophyless season while finishing second if I remember correctly. That's what I'm sick of, absolutely no recognition of the manager. Regardless if you hate him or love him, credits where credits due. Now that is what fickle means - praise players when we do good, leave manager out of the equation for his miniature role in it but when we might suffer a defeat it's well done Lamps, well done Mata, but somehow 4 page long essays of Rafa's incompetence appear in his thread portraying him as the public enemy number one. If our team didn't need a shaping up, we wouldn't be struggling reaching league spots for next years UCL. Our strikers, pivot roles are still not figured out, same goes for our center backs. Wasn't Terry's biggest contribution up until that point giving away penalties and being shaky due niggling injuries keeping him off the field for a long period of time? Don't blame him. Plus I could not see how Hazard could have prevented Suarez from scoring that last ditch header better than Benayoun. You are looking for culprits from the wrong place.
  11. Haha Well I got to tell you that snow melted roughly a month ago, seeing a bright blue sky and sun is a welcomed change of scenery!
  12. Addition of @The only place to be has been great to this forum. Deservedly voting for him, best of luck this time around!
  13. Summer(-ish) weather requires summer haircut. Short back and sides, military style. Feels great not needing to adjust hair anymore after every slight breeze. Suns out, uni's football tournament's coming up and I'm representing my year, life is great.
  14. Usually strength gains are a good indicator if you're making progress or not. Maybe it is just some kind of a plateau you got to crawl over and after that you will skyrocket to your ideal weight?
  15. Thanks for reviving this thread again! Maybe the lost kgs are due to water weight or becoming leaner? Because you might still seem visually bigger just that you weigh less. Have you lost your strength also or has it been the same, even better?
  16. A very naive way of thinking. Our squad needs some proper shaping up, they were the ones throwing away wins that were already in the bag. People like you are the reason we change managers like socks. Fickle and in most cases with extreme bias.
  17. Torres was great today, I'm not saying I'd trust my life with him, but he was a joy to watch. Though, Hazard MOTM. Benfica will be a tough team. I'd even go as far as saying that they are the favourites taking into account their team balance, chemistry and how much this actually means to them. We must not underestimate them, a top top side.
  18. HgH isn't a magic substance that surely will add your height that or that amount. Though, in theory yes!
  19. Well if football doesn't work out he'd have genetics to be pro in fitness. Amazing athleticism.
  20. Woah, talking about perspectives. I live in a town with population of a little over 100k and when I go to Tallinn, which holds a population of nearly 500k, I feel like I'm in a maze. Though last time there I managed to see a blue ferrari maranello, so big city has its pros!
  21. What a debut season for Cesar Azpilicueta. His position maybe doesn't involve loads of goals/assists but he has made the right back position his at the age of 23. Great attitude, always smiling, a great lad.
  22. They are going to have to let their players go cheap or release them. This will be a feasting day for lower table teams, not to for the mention promoted sides.
  23. Like a certain someone has said: ''We have to play for a result. We can not lose the game. I don't put pressure on you about we have to win the game, but we can not lose. We can not lose.''
  24. Don't forget the last game against Liverpool, matter of seconds for securing extra 2pts. Champions League football is ours to lose.
