  1. Fair penalty, nothing to say. Could have gone in either way, just now we HAD a chance to not concede and also Terry got booked.
  2. Great goal by Moses but also props to Torres for fighting back the ball the way he did.
  3. Man city have nailed it. Clean, classy. Regarding Liverpool's kits. Their home shirt is very good but the rest is like they had let a local knitting club have a go at making a design.
  4. Deep, deep quotes, but being a smartass isn't actually going to help your case here my friend. If you mean being narcissistic when you mentioned 'sport' then you're right. There is a fine line between arrogance and confidence, oddly you haven't acknowledged that in your 21 years.
  5. How old is terminator? I've been lurking on this board for 3 years and never have I seen a positive, a non bitter or passive aggressive post made by him. There must be a reason.
  6. Very respectable stats keeping in mind he is against teams twice his value.
  7. Do something hobby related, I bet you can use your knowledge there as an extra plus you never know -from great idea great deeds.
  8. North Korea won't attack anyone unless they have the complete backing of Chin/Russia, which they don't if they keep sending out such provocative messages. Next large scale war will take place near the two Koeras or Middle-East. Kim Jong un wants to stamp his authority in the world but also in the eyes of the North Korean generals, who are most likely the ones in control of the country. Young and foolish, let's hope he won't bite more than he can chew.
  9. Never knew there was anyone actually playing POST-season games, well we are pioneers in more ways than one in that case.
  10. I've only got experience with lots to do in a tight schedule but number one thing is just to start doing it, stop daydreaming and start typing in the lines - in no time you will be succumbed in the work. It might be hard to do but it's a great way to test your self discipline and motivating yourself - things you can't learn from books but are very, very important in your future life. And like you said it dumps, if you fuck this up you have dug yourself a hole by yourself so get cracking. Yard by yard - life is hard, inch by inch it's a cinch. I've been studying for different tests for months now without rest and I refuse to give in to the pressure. The harder the better, bring it. Try to adapt the same mentality and I know you're hardcore in training, be hardcore in mental strength.
  11. Or maybe you're already in decent shape but your mind doesn't want to 'progress' along, so you still have this more of a negative self image? Plus starting from a certain point you will start to lose weight slower and that is a good thing, more healthier in the long run! Stop being so hard on yourself mate.
  12. That's cool, always great to have some sort of motivation going, be it a running comp or what not. I dont know why but I dont enjoy individual competitions like running or cross country skiing for results. Though when it comes to football or any other team sport I'm the most confident person on the field, like in my own element wanting to win the damn thing. Well mate, lets not kid ourselves, you have a very strict regime and goals you want to achieve. I dont know you that well, only from what you have posted, but you seem a determined lad with sport being a lifestyle for you not a chore so im 100% sure you will achieve your named targets.
  13. Good on you mate. What are your goals? I'm taking my 4th day off training today - feels like eternity though it's only 4 days. Will get back go gym tomorrow for some chest and triceps day. The reason I took the break was because of studying and most of all I started to experience over training symptoms - fatigue, joint/muscle pains, insomnia etc. Refilled protein and creatine stocks a few days ago so should be ready to keep going strong from now on. Bought 100% whey protein so will see if it is as good as the reviews are.
  14. I've had my bf measured before with machines and constantly have a visual how my body should look like at certain bf levels. It's no way accurate but if there's ab definition it can't be that high. Hope you achieve your goal mate.
  15. Will try to work hard until autumn doing strength and cardio to gain endurance and get into MMA. Been thinking of it for a long time but time to make it a reality. Stats: 180cm, 84kgs. Body fat around 15% after bulking for the past 4 months, still a definition in abs. Will get leaner with the summer and all that coming. Strength wise will aim for max benching 120-130kgs solidly. At the moment it's 105-110kgs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgQhxp_Y9Js
  16. Have you tried running on natural turf?
  17. I don't really know why, how and where have my results gone? Manager rating is almost always 4-5, but the team can't deliver.
  18. You're right about deadlifts and its importance apart from it not training traps. It's not a rule of thumb that it only hits hamstrings and lower back - it also works your triceps, arms in general, front legs, core, shoulders, traps - the whole nine yards. How so? All these muscles have to balance so it is sort of a negative movement for them. Try holding a heavy, heavy barbell up for a long time - see if your traps ache the next day.
  19. If you haven't done them before and push yourself - you cant walk.
  20. Lower back pains/injuries are not something you can take lightly. If you've got messed up back and rotator cuff, you might aswell leave the gym - that's how serious these injuries are. From what you've told me: a ) If you've got pain the following day then do more warm-up for your lower back and stretch it gently after lifting. b ) Try wearing the lifting belt, I'm sure many gyms have that available. You might look like a douche wearing a belt and squatting 50kg, but you know why and what you're doing. You can go gradually heavier and heavier. c ) Perfect your form - is your back straight, glutes back when you push up. YouTube videos are great for that if you can filter out crap from the useful bits. d ) If you have been squatting with a free weight barbell, try -if you can- squatting in a squatting rack. Basically same thing but gives you more time to focus on form rather than range emotion. e ) Start doing abdominal & lower back exercises every other day. Having a strong core means your body is more stable. It will give your spine a protecting armor illustratively speaking. It's comparable with your eyes - if the optical function in the eye is weakening, normally you would start to see things blurry. Though, the muscles in your eyes will overcompensate and you will see normally for some time. f ) Maybe it's your anatomy? Past medical history? If nothing works out, you shouldn't feel disappointed. There are a lot of exercises to work your lower legs, lower back. You just have to be creative and perform the movements that are comfortable for you. After time, when you've overcome this imbalance - maybe you can start doing them squats and deadlifts again without complications! g ) If your pain comes after a legworkout in which you do both squats and deadlifts - try to do only one of them and see which of them is the culprit behind your woes? h ) Squatting and leg presses are two different things. Squats work overall leg muscles but focus on the back side of it with (m. biceps femoris, m.semitendinosus, m.semimembranosus) while leg presses work mainly your from leg muscles (m.quadriceps femoris). Maybe there is some imbalance in your leg muscles - your front leg is too fucking huge but back side is lagging behind. It might result in your having an awkward range emotion and balance while squatting, putting more tension on your lower back than you should. Body would naturally start using more of the muscles that are stronger and that will exacerbate your problem. Take for example if you've got the triceps of gods. That doesn't mean you can curl more, because in the end of the day, bicep will have to do the work. Also dumps asked a good question - is the pain worse in any of the sides? Best of luck
  21. Best advice I can give you as med student is make a schedule and regardless of school - do what you like, be with your friends. There will be times where you must prioritize, but the paradox in life is that if you solely concentrate on one thing you will not get it. Best of luck, Choulo, don't forget your xpert11 tactics!
  22. It's a delight to read how happy you're with yourself and how blessed we are to have you and your intolerant opinion on this board. Everyone here, around you in Algeria are ignorant, mentally incapable of doing anything. Though, in the end of the day, you're who you surround yourself with. If you surround yourself with smart people, chances are you are a smart person. Of course there are slight less fortunate options...
  23. Really? You want me to answer that? A bit rhetorical to be fair. You're wrong about Torres being the only fault in this club, can't even see the link how one man can ruin a football club by his own. You're a hypocrite for praising the veteran players like they were angels throughout their career, especially when it comes to managers.
