Bertrand looked nervous early on but improved as the game went on. You have to remember this was only his first start for us. PVA is not miles ahead of Bertrand either. And this not-Chelsea-class label should die. Jonny fucking Evans starts for United.

I think they are too concerned with the PL and possibly Europa to care about this one. I do hope this one doesn't turn out like that Newcastle game though. Injury to Benayoun was pretty disappointing.

His recklessness isn't overstated at all. I can think of the last minute penalty to Fulham, stupid challenges at SB, needless yellow cards and the mistake at OT just off the top of my head.I like him a lot but there's still room for improvement, which is a good thing considering how good he already is.

I feel like he's very much capable of winning you the toughest games and unfortunately losing you the easiest.

Half their starting lineup today have barely played this season.

He's actually been the opposite of a good signing, but he's still got time to prove his worth. Hopefully yesterday's 2nd assist was the beginning of the new chapter.

I don't think Luiz starting at CB is a great idea against United. I would rather start him at DM or.... CF.

Would have been even better if he scored, but he pulled his weights and his 2nd assist was great to see.

I absolutely love him, but he's still got lots to learn. He's still trying to get in front of the attacker all the time and he could have easily lost us points.... I honestly don't know what his role should be against United this weekend. His lack of discipline could be damaging; but at the same time his pace, explosiveness and creativity could be huge assets for us. I would have liked to see him get some minutes at DM position, but Old Trafford is probably not the best place to test it for the first time.

Mikel was the best for me but Torres definitely contributed to the win which was great to see. Anelka's pace was fascinating to watch as well.
