Didn't that actually happen after Kalou scored?

Need to score at least two goals to advance (unless we win on penalties), but it's hard to imagine us scoring 2 goals in a single game these days. Hopefully I am wrong

I thought he looked MUCH better after he scored his goal. But then it was almost impossible to get worse after the first half he had

Drogba + Anelka is the best partnership we have. Even when he hasn't been scoring goals, Drogba is the only one who's looked like making some plays for the team (and himself). And Torres' had enough chances to score at least once. He's off form unfortunately and we can't afford to keep giving such players important minutes even if he's a world class player like Torres. Lamps and Essiens are also completely off or more likely have declined, and I want to see Mikel again tbh.

It's combination of them struggling and the whole first team struggling. We just couldn't afford to give the unproven youngsters significant minutes as we hoped.
