  1. Can't wait for Drogba to come back. I'd play Feruz before I play Torres again
  2. Let me rephrase that again. Roman has the right to do whatever the fuck he wants with what he owns - most of Chelsea FC - as long as he's playing under the rules. CFC is very much like his toy although I wouldn't call it exactly that. Latest issue with the stadium doesn't prove anything because the pitch was never in Roman's possession. And the reason for my original post was because someone made it sound like only the fans have the rights to be fickle. Roman and the management team, as devoted fans of the football club themselves, also have the right to be fickle. In fact, everything they've ever done was within their rights. I also didn't tell anyone to quit following the club. I said that they have the right to do so if they didn't like the owner's approach. I just never liked the fans' sense of entitlement Btw, good for you being a real fan. I'm really happy for you.
  3. Speaking of rights, Roman has the right to do whatever the fuck he wants. Anyone can simply quit following the team if they can't appreciate this fact. You certainly do have the right to do that.
  4. Too long since he last scored. Too long that this "lack of service" excuse doesn't hold much weight
  5. I was really disappointed with his FIFA tournaments performance, but he's looked very good for the reserves IMO
  6. Next thing you know, clubs and agents are going to quote twitter comments during negotiation.
  7. That's more of an exception than the norm. Players who look like mid-bottom table club signings usually do look just like that.
  8. You are actually insulting Kalou with that comment. Kalou's been an effective sub for us over the years and his goal scoring record's certainly been better than Torres'. In fact, he WAS a good sub yesterday. It's also very possible that he trains better than Torres. If we didn't pay 50M for the player and his name wasn't Torres, nobody would be complaining.
  9. Sturridge but only because 10 others sucked
  10. He's more Anelka than Robben or Ronaldo, but I don't particularly like any of the three comparisons.
  11. Sure but GK's are not supposed to make such mistakes in ANY situation. It's not something the manager should be accounting for because it's something so basic. Not sure how you can blame that mistake on AVB.
  12. Because he's been really bad last 11 months, and the striker position wasn't even the biggest problem today. To think Torres would have made a difference is putting blind faith in the biggest transfer flop of all time.
  13. I actually do. If we had unlimited number of substitutions available, it would have made sense to bring on Torres. But why use one of three available to replace a striker for another striker - the one that's been struggling for last 12 months at that - when the midfield's not been creating anything for the CF?
  14. People still believe Torres will magically be good again in one game
  15. Let me use the same excuse the "Torres fans" have been using for the last 11 months. He didnt get enough service!
  16. We could have won 3 or 4-0? We didn't create a single great chance today. Our only goal was just a brilliant work by Sturridge.
  17. Couldn't have said it better. If there WAS a substitution error, it was that he didn't replace Cech with Turnbull/Hilario.
  18. 1) I love Mata, but he was terrible today. If his name was Malouda, you would have killed him by now. 2) Hindsight is 20/20. We didn't look like scoring the entire fucking game, but we defended reasonably well, so what would have been the logical decision? Going for the 2nd goal or simply defending the lead? The latter obviously, and it would have worked if it weren't for Cech's mistake that had absolutely nothing to do with AVB's tactics or substitutions. 3) Torres? Yeah we've been saying that he must be motivated after playing like shit for last 11 months, but he hasn't shown anything. He has no ability to create a goal by himself, and as you Torres nuthuggers have been saying, he NEEDS service to score. Was there ANY kind of service to our striker today? NO. So what the fuck would have been the purpose in playing Torres? So he can just watch the long balls? So you guys can say "but but but it's not Torres' fault that he didn't score. He got no serviceeee"? Stop blaming this on AVB. Everyone - minus Sturridge - played like shit today
  19. Except we would have won if it weren't for Cech's stupid mistake. Was it AVB's tactics or substitutions affecting Cech?
  20. 1) Mata was playing like garbage and the subsitutes WERE NOT the reason why we conceded the late goal 2) Why the fuck would you bring on Torres when 1) we are leading and 2) our midfield's been absolute crap? So you can say "Torres didn't get the service" after he doesn't score again? Don't blame this on AVB. This is on the players who showed no desire to win and made yet another stupid and totally avoidable defensive error in a critical moment.
  21. We would have won if it weren't for a schoolboy mistake by Cech. Not sure what you are so angry about.
  22. Everyone played like shit. EVERY SINGLE ONE
  23. you are absolutely pathetic. What would have Torres done? Striker's not been getting the ball the entire game.
  24. At least now we know how important Ramires is
