That analogy would work if he was playing in their league but the fact is he's one of the best LBs in the PL already at the age of 19. Also why does he have to play in the CL this season? United have Evra, Shaw can play the odd group game and learn from him, United bought him for the potential. Ok.

Also lets not forget we did spend £30 million on Willian when we were already stacked in that position...

I'm embarrassing myself? I know the CL is a step up but it's not a massive one like you're suggesting, at the age of 18/19 he's been playing against the big boys and performing well, in a few years time he will only improve. Chelsea, City and United were all seriously interested in him, he's a massive talent and to suddenly downplay his ability because he hasn't played in the CL is laughable.

The CL isn't a massive step up, when he's playing the likes of City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and doing well at his age than he is something special.

The Champions league isn't that much of a step up especially since he's already performing week in week out in one of the best leagues.

£30 million doesn't seem so ridiculous when you compare it to spending £20 million on a 29 year old... I know Luis is one of the best LBs in the world right now but he is 29, Shaw at 19 is already one of the better LBs in the league and is only going to get better.

Hazard is a winger, he's not solely a creative player like Silva or Iniesta, he has totally different skill sets. Also Neymar better than Bale/Hazard? Give me a break. Bale>Hazard>Neymar. Bale right now it better than Hazard, he's way more consistent, Hazard at his best is better but we only get that five games a season.

Neymar has scored goals but he tends to drift in and out of matches, Robben and James have been the main force, dribbled, created and scored, they create excitement.

It does seem ridiculous to just label him a 'finisher', i don't disagree with it but just look at him ffs, how can someone like him be so poor as a target man? honestly i don't see him ever being a 'complete' striker, at his age you cannot improve that much technically.

Who cares if United spend £30-40 million (according to reports) on Robben? LVG will obviously make RVP and Robben his main men, the thing is RVP is 31 and Robben is 30... don't get me wrong Robben is one of the best wingers in the world, no doubt, but tbh i would hate it if Chelsea built their team around two aging players, never mind how good they are, also lets not forget RVP and Robben do pick up a fair few injuries during the season as well.

He's really starting to annoy me, I mean speaking to the media every 5 minutes was irritating but his attitude stinks, does he really think he is the 'complete striker'? Not even fucking close, first touch of a donkey, no hold up play ( Fellaini puts him to shame in that regard), he also gets dispossessed far too easily... I still think he's good at what he does, score goals but honestly, £30 million any he can go.

Vidals engine and workrate was insane against spain, he was literally up and down the pitch all night. He may not be as athletic as Ramires but what an uprade he would be, he's probably the best all around midfielder in the world right now.

He was positive and he did look very good on the ball, maybe i'm being a bit harsh but i do think it's a bit over the top when people say he's better than Salah.

His end product was awful, was good on the ball in the first half but second completely anonymous. Again on the ball he's good but his decision making in the final third need improving.

I wasn't really impressed with him the other night, he hardly ever went to beat his man, he just kept on crossing from deep or shooting... desperately needs to work on his end product.

I have to laugh at how he called himself a 'complete forward', yesterday showed he is anything but.

We already have many younger players in our squad, Oscar, Hazard, Lukaku, Salah, Schurrle, MVG, Courtois and Zouma, we also have players nearing thier prime, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill and Cesc. We need more players with experience and Luis offers that. I'm not going to lie though, the fee is a bit excessive, but he is a quality player.

I personally think Benzema is overrated, he's good but not great. In the big occasions he goes missing, he also keeps hold of the ball far too long and often ruins Madrid counter attacks... i don't know he's just so inconsistent for me. As i said i do think he's good but not a top quality striker IMO.

I want him to have a massive WC, time for him to be recognised worldwide as a top, top player, not just a talent.

A midfield of Cesc-Matic-Kross may sound good on paper but it's a bit slow for me.

He's inconsistent as well, when things are not going his way he sulks.. i'm sorry but he has a lot of growing up to do. He reminds me of Ibra, in his late 20's he finally matured and fulfilled his potential, hopefully the same thing will happen to Balo.
