  1. Pedro? lol he's been poor for a few years now. We all know Bale isn't the greatest of dribblers but he's a PL type player, direct, quick and scores frequently. We desperately need more goalscorers in our team, right now we only have Costa and Hazard who get into double figures, literally, in all comps we only have two players who get into double figures... let that sink in. He's quality and when on top form is one of the best wingers in the world. Let me just post this video up so people can remember how good he actually is and not just judge him on his bad form. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHsIzHLctgI
  2. If we get Bale - Courtois Clyne - Verane - Terry/Zouma- Azpi Schneiderlin - Matic Bale - Fabregas - Hazard Costa Subs - RLC, Willian, Terry, Lacazette, New GK. Alternative Courtios Coleman - Stones - Terry/Zouma - Azpi Koke - Matic Sterling - Cesc - Hazard Costa Subs - Willian, RLC, Icardi, New GK, Terry/Zouma
  3. If we fail to sign Verane, we should definitely go for Stones. They're very similar really, young, pacey and good with the ball at their feet. Verane's definitely faster IMO but Stones is better on the ball.
  4. Willian's really upped his game the past few weeks, played well again today.
  5. We just have to give him time, it's true he has looked awful but lets judge him next season when he's fully settled in.
  6. Ramires is nothing more than a water carrier who can score the occasional screamer, he lacks the technical ability and football iq to be a great player. Milner is not much better but he can at least control a ball and pass efficiently. IMO we need to move away from these sort of signings, we need more technical players who are smarter with and without the ball, players such as Schneiderlin, Koke, Gündogan, André Gomes, Veratti, Cabaye etc.
  7. He was poor yesterday i thought. Gary Neville alluded to it, when he had the ball at his feet he couldn't keep it under control to save his life. His goal was special though, what a hit.
  8. Everyone should read this, it's hilarious. Pts Chelsea 77, Arsenal 7924 May 2015 – Arsenal v West Brom and Chelsea v SunderlandKnowing only a win and Chelsea draw or defeat will guarantee them the title, Arsenal destroy West Brom 5-0.Sunderland head into the final day needing a point and results elsewhere go their way to avoid the drop. They score a last-gasp equaliser to secure the draw and in the process deny Chelsea of a first league title since 2010. Final pts Chelsea 78, Arsenal 82 So in the space of five weeks the 'Journalist' expected us to lose to United, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Brom, and to draw against Palace and Sunderland. He only had us winning 1 game and that was against Leicester. I have to give it to the Journalist, it's a funny read.
  9. Pac vs May and Chelsea winning the PL, it's going to be a good weekend.
  10. I don't mind sitting back against the big sides but fucking hell do we even no how to how to keep the ball? it's so frustrating watching us struggle to keep meaningful possession.
  11. We've been dreadful tbh, I really miss our early season form...
  12. Drogba's been awful man, so slow and sloppy on the ball.
  13. He does get bullied off the ball a lot though, he needs to bulk up a bit and learn how to shield the ball better IMO.
  14. Eden Hazard statistically among the worst PFA Player of the Year winners in the last 20 years http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/eden-hazard-statistically-among-the-worst-pfa-player-of-the-year-winners-in-the-last-20-years-10207010.html
  15. Very impressed by Willian, our best player by miles.
  16. He lacks that close control and ability to dribble past players consistently IMO. He often has to do a 1-2 in order to beat his man and if a team is parking the bus i dont see it working as often. I'm not denying his talent but i wouldn't mind us selling him in the summer tbh.
  17. I honestly dont mind how we played, obviously the first 30 minutes was hard to watch but once we calmed down and got to grips with United we improved and managed the game brilliantly. I do think we need more technically sound players though, on the counter our players lack that certain precision and ability. Atletico's whole team consist of great technical footballers who not only graft but are able to move the ball efficiently when they break. Gabi, Tiago, Koke, Turan and Griezmann, thats basically their whole midfield. They can control matches but just as easily are able to sit deep and counter with quick, precise passing, they all have great footballing minds.
  18. If Remy' out I'd take a punt on Solanke. Drogba just doesn't do it for me tbh.
  19. Nah would much rather Bale, he's so much better than Sterling.
  20. Plus he actually has end product, you can almost guarantee he'll score 12-15 goals a season.
  21. If Madrid cant get De Gea i think they'll go for Cech.
  22. Ivan and Cahill both need to be subbed, fucking dreadful. Ramires and Willian have both been poor also, they just keep losing the ball. We're fucking bottlers, players should be ashamed. I repeat we have too many water carriers in the squad, yes they'll run all day and track back but they offer nothing going forward.
  23. He definitely doesn't have the natural talent Rooney has, Kane works hard, has good movement and is a great finisher but lets see how he performs when he's low on confidence. Next season we'll no more about him.
