  1. They will both get more than enough playing time.
  2. I think the warmth of the group is excellent to see, and you know two different groups react differently. And we've [sic] that the spirit within this group has been fantastic - it's different from what I had in the last year. -Andre Villas-Boas, Tottenham Hotspur manager. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/7/28/3197521/andre-villas-boas-quotes
  3. bless young Josh trying to tag along
  4. Any comparison's to Messi must stop now, Messi is just super human, Hazard will be world class for us but he won't be that good. If we carry on we will start to sound like what the LFC fans are like with Suarez. 5. Malouda's wages do not count towards FFP and i can't see us getting a great deal of cash for him, so if we can use him for a year as the bench player while De Bruyne goes on loan and boost's his development aswell as potential re sale price, i don't see the harm personally.
  6. Fair play This season i will look to get Azpi, a forward who can score and probably Moses in, so pretty much the same as you in that regard. Out going's i think we should leave until next summer, imo we still need as much experience as we can get to go with the young heads. De Bruyne needs a loan to improve his re sale value (a vital part of FFP), it could work wonders, look at Thiabut, if we cashed in now we would double our money at worst. Looking forward even further i think next summer we will probably look for a complete DM (especially if Barca activate the buy back clause for Oriol), Vidal would be a dream and most probably a centre half too, aswell as squad players to replace Paulo, Malouda and Yossi, whos contract's do expire next summer.
  7. Crazy!!! we have let far too much experience go already this summer, we may have signed some good young players but we can't shaft the experience, otherwise we will turn into Arsenal. I know Malouda and Paulo are not that good anymore but we will need their experience this season with the new influx of youth coming in. Plus we might aswell make use the "house money" with FFP coming up. We might aswell stick Paulo and Malouda on the bench while Kane and De Bruyne are out on loan improving their value and development rather than letting Flo and Paulo go and letting those 2 stagnate on the bench.
  8. It makes sense for this season atleast. Flo is on the last year off his contract, he is leaving next May regardless, it makes more sense to just sit him on the bench while De Bruyne is out on loan playing week in week out improving and boosting potential re-sale value (which is vital considering FFP).
  9. Agreed, if some fans got their way we would have a squad full of 16-23 players.
  10. We have let far too much experience go this season, with the youth coming into the side this season we need to keep experienced heads and Yossi is certainly one of them.
  11. Not in uefa's mind because that will put bid bad City, PSG and Chelsea on par with the golden boys on what can be spent. FFP is Uefa's way of trying to say "we want Madrid, United, Barca, Munich and Milan at the top and no one is allowed to compete with them".
  12. I hope you right as i don't want him here either but i just have this nasty feeling i last got before we were even linked with Sidwell in 2007, i just knew we were going to get him
  13. He is still more than capable of coming in for one off games imo.
  14. One playing arriving signals the end for 5, how does that work?
  15. Won't affect nothing, if Josh is good and patient enough he will find a way into the team somehow. 2 years ago Bertrand was behind Cole, Yuri and PVA in the pecking order at LB, now he is just a couple of great performances away from potentially ttaking Cole's place.
  16. I understand that, but there are a few Championship's clubs that play football to suit Josh (Blackpool for example), and facing physical players will only improve him as a player. Loaning him to a Premier League club (unless they give us assurances of a lot of playing time) will be far too risky, another failed loan will set him back god knows how far.
  17. Oscar is the perfect player to link the back 4 + Mikel to the attack, if we play him on the wing we are really missing a trick here.
  18. It was 25m euros weren't it? i think the media have been to lazy to translate
  19. Will turn out to be the best signing for a long time. Will turn out to be the best signing in a long time. Yes Hazard will be a great and Mata, Luiz and co already are for us but Oscar will end up being the link between the back 4 plus Mikel and the forwards. ยฃ19m he cost (25m euros), absolute steal, if i was an Inter fan i would feel robbed. Thank god he didn't end up in Levy's jail.
  20. Im feel bad now for the things ive said about Gourlay in the past.
  21. This game shows he can play the advanced role in the double pivot, develop him into a more assist's version of Modric like player.
  22. With his constant raving about Oscar lately, their chemistry they seem to have on the pitch, our need for a new right back and a failed bids for Maicon, would not surprise me in the slightest if we make an approach for him atleast. I might even put a bet on him being a Chelsea player by September.
  23. Brilliant pass to Rafeal, brilliant.
  24. He was mismanaged last season, he should have been given a Championship loan from the start, that league is very under-rated when it comes to developing players skills, look at Bertrand. Lets learn from the mistake and find a Championship club for him this coming season.
