  1. Like when he scored at the Nou Camp, it was made out afterwards like he won it single handedly when infact he nearly lost it for us by pissing about 25 yards from his own goal. The much maligned Bosingwa saved it from happening, Torres may have got the goal but Bosingwa was the hero of that moment for me.
  2. It is frustrating seeing United come from 2-0 down to lead again, the last time we won from 2 down? August 2002 Say what you like about Danny's "greedy" nature, but you know what they say, keep shooting one will go in eventually, that worse than being too scared to shoot?
  3. The thing with Torres is he has performed well in spades this season. Good enough for a squad player but a number one forward? no chance. Basically a more expensive Kalou.
  4. This another passionate defending off Torres coming up? where the fuck where these people when Kalou was getting the same shit.
  5. @Kojo, is spot on, best possible outcome for group stages is get the worst team in each pot, sail through after 4 games and worry about the big battles later.
  6. We haven't performed well tonight but credit must go to Shaktar too, they sure know how to make use of home advantage.
  7. One of those games, we cannot be on it every match.
  8. Forget any outfield player we have, forget Falcao or anyone who we may sign in the future. Cech is our most important player we have got, by an absolute country mile the best keeper on this planet.
  9. Anyone got a decent stream? firstrow isnt working for me
  10. Im so pissed off only have SS1 and 2 on my freeview and they choose Celtic on SS2
  11. Maybe Lampard is getting a chance in the 3?
  12. I would love it IF we won it (and that is still a big if with Corinthians around) that we turn this history line right back at Liverpool. Something like "you may have 5 European Cups and 18 League's, but you have never been World Champions, no history".
  13. Its the only competition in the world were you get to play competitive games out of Europe. Its the only competition we will get to play competitive games against teams not in Europe. Its also a chance to be Champions of the WORLD. It's such an under-rated competition it's almost criminal. It doesn't matter how good the teams there are on paper, it's a chance to be World Champions and hopefully we win it so we finally can go and ramb it up the the throat of the Kop on April 20th.
  14. Chris Sutton was also playing big games before Drogba became a pro, does that mean we should have re signed him and gave him Drogs place in Munich? On this basis we should consider asking Dennis Wise out of retirement and stick him in the double pivot alongside Lamps for this one. Infact lets play Lampard every game until he decides otherwise purely out of gratitude because he use to be the best in the business. Lampard is a Chelsea legend, that is not even up for debate, but we have to face reality, this is 2012 not 2005, Lampard is not the player he was and no longer good enough to play 3 times a week. Giggs is a United legend, but he has been taking pelters from United fans this season, not because United fans have fell out of love with him but because their not letting sentiment get in the way and can see that these days Giggs is no good anymore. Lampard still has something to offer but eventually there will be a day where that isn't the case and he will be in every sense of the word a passenger (like Giggs now), will their be fans that slate other fans for merely pointing that out? Moving on to the game, Shaktar's home record is stupidly good, stupid rotation and we will drop points, i think one of Azpi or Ryan should come in, Terry aswell but apart from that im hoping for same again, keep the momentum going for United.
  15. Its not going to happen. I would love it to however.
  16. Im with you on the sentance i just quoted i can't begin to explain how much it does my head in hearing about any player that hasn't played in the premier league "wait until they play in the premier league". Will Messi cope in Stoke on a cold Tuesday night? he will probably find it difficult but what is conviently not mentioned is so would any player going to that ground, Didier Drogba never had it all his own way at that ground and he is tailor made to "handle" games at The Brittania. Look at Stoke's record at home against Chelsea, Liverpool, City and especially Arsenal. We have only won there 3 times between us since 2008 and two of them were injury time winners, United are the only top team that do ok there. Another is "wait until Neymar proves himself in a top league" well the Brazillian league is not the (with all due respect) the Hungarian third Division, its still a top league with great players (look at Oscar) and Neymar stands out like a golden star, he will have no trouble with the Premier League. Falcao, last year when we had the chance to activate his mere £24m release clause i can remember the arguement he hasn't proved himself in a top league, oppps. Maybe we should stick to players who are proven in the PL, word is Kevin Nolan is on the market for £25m.
  17. Im not a big believer of a player being merely a back up except in goal. If PVA does come back and outperform Bertrand then he should start until the tide changes back in the Englishman's favour.
  18. How is he progressing this season? Because unless his defending side has drastically improved the i don't want him here even as a backup, would rather take a punt on Deen-Conteh whereever he has disappeared too.
  19. If Pulis and Big Sam saw that they will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing us.
  20. Calm down i was just pointing it out A loss would have been a loss, if we lost yesterday does that mean Eddie's own unbeaten record against Spurs would have still be intact?
  21. 10 as he was assistant in the 1-1 draw at WHL last season.
  22. After a minor blip between 2006-2010, normal result pattern's in Chelsea vs Spurs games has been restored.
  23. It's not so much that it's the fact if Danny said it or Kalou said it during his Chelsea career they would get in from all angle's, but Torres says it there's no fuss. The double standards involving Torres get more annoying by the day.
  24. Imagine if we let Robbie and Eddie go after Munich?
