That's the point he will suit the Bundesliga because he is so talented, i don't think any under 23 English player has such technical talent Josh has (not even Wilshere), and the weaknesses to his game are lot easier to fine tune than a player who technically isn't all there (ie Cleverly).
-
Its looking that way as it stands, but he has so much natural talent i really think there is some player in there somewhere. He just needs some confidence back and who better to give it to him than Jose? even if he doesn't play much this season (15-20 games) i think he can gain a lot working under Mourinho. Other aspects of the game (bulking up, attitude, mental strength) can be worked on as players grow up, ability on the ball is the hardest thing to work on, and Josh already has that. Its far to early to make a final decision on Josh imo. Hopefully Jose will have him in the squad for 2 season's (like he did with Huth in his first spell) then decide whether he is good enough or not.

With Van Ginkel here and hopefully De Rossi following, the Luiz in midfield shit can finally be put to bed, thank fuck.

We are one of the top clubs in world football, not a youth charity, if players want to make it here they have to earn it on merit, which is why i get annoyed by comments as good as suggesting we should not sign a striker and make Lukaku #1 before he has even proved himself here. If Josh is as good as his potential, he will make it here regardless of who we sign in the same position, if he cannot handle competition then he was at the wrong club from the off.
-
Will be gutted if this happens, he would be an ideal squad forward for the upcoming season.
-
Lukaku is a great young forward with a huge future, but isn't ready to be number 1 forward at a club looking to win the title. Some think he will hand in a transfer request if we ring in Cavani
-
Clear example of an expensive risk paying off ten fold (im not going to say what i would usually say next because if i do this thread will do stupidly off topic).

Hyjack Paulinho's move to Tottenham and get Luis Gustavo (who fell behind Martinez in the pecking order), then our pivot is sorted Speaking of Martinez it's painful watching him knowing just how perfect he will be for us.

The Liverpool home match was the worst for me, Luiz's 20 minute cameo saved me from going insane. Didn't know what to do with myself after that match.

Backsteet, mybodyisready, Santiago, Ronaldinho, Rupert, Solanapoli.

After making such a big deal of Benitez's flags comment from 2007, it would be rather ironic if we accept with open arms a player who stuck two fingers up at our supporters just over 2 years ago.
-
That was the problem with Carlo at Chelsea, we were either absolutely incredible (to the point we were we would eclipse any one off performance under Mourinho) or absolutely beyond woefull (i will go as far as saying i have never seen us as bad in my lifetime).

Cavani every single time. If United are prepared to sell to a title rival for such a relitevely low price, that alone should suggest that he just isn't the world class forward he use to be. They know what there doing, remember Veron? Would they have sold a 2008 Rooney to a title rival for anything other than a stupid amount of Money? no chance. There is very few players in the world that in theirself could take a team to the next level and those players don't come cheap, Cavani is one of those players. A 2008 Rooney was one of those players, but a 2013 one isn't.
-
This EPL proven thing is over-rated, we could have got Aguero in 2011 but got PL proven Torres instead
-
On paper so was Kaka under Mourinho. You say like motivation loss is easy to switch back on by a mere move, when you lose motivation for your job it's hard to just switch the light back on, even if you want too.
-
Torres was dominating the premier league when Aguero was a raw teenager, reckon City fancy a swap? Infact Roy Keane was dominating the PL before we heard of Lampard, sign him up i say!!!!! This is about who's better out of Rooney and Cavani now, not in 2008.
-
Torres was washed up at 26. Rooney last season reminded me of Torres in 09/10 and we all know what happened to him that summer on.
-
He will be worth every penny of the £53m, if we choose a washed up Rooney over him were idiots.
-
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
The close season has a tendency to make a lot forget about just how much of a squad game football is these days. The comments about Lukaku getting no game time if we get Cavani testament to that.
-
Because De Bruyne is the new flavour of the month that will take us to new dimension's
-
Cavani £53m > Rooney £20m
-
Thank god for that aswell.

That was painfull.
