  1. Infact u think your find that Didierforevers post I responded quite clearly saying he wasn't.
  2. Speaking of Drogba and Hazard, there partnership needs a lot of work
  3. Enlighten me, how many chances did these great footballing sides create in those games? bare in mind they were the HOME TEAM.
  4. We played Arsenal and United away like Fergie use to play Stamford Bridge, Anfield and Highbury down the years, try and win but also be mindful that a draw away to a title rival is not the end if the world, it truly baffles me how our own supporters fall for this park the bus bullshit it really is. Regarding Athletico, we were missing numerous key players and were heading to the home of the in form team in Europe, any manager who doesn't go defensive under those circumstances is to put it bluntly a absolute muppet and will get the hammering his stupidity deserves (Wenger at Stamford Bridge). Another point re Arsenal away last season, it was no different to how Ancelotti approached the game at the Emirates in 09/10 when we won 3-0 (let Arsenal have it and pass into oblivion then snatch it and counter at pace), Didier scored two back then and pressured Vermalen into a OG, last season we had Torres playing ip top that game, that's why it finished goalless and we won 3-0 under Carlo with the same approach.
  5. I would play him at Eastlands, we gave a player his debut there last season and that didn't end badly did it? I know each case is unique and I can understand the argument for not playing him right away as the back 4 from last season worked so well, but this season it simply isn't working.
  6. Even remotely criticising a player = scapegoat wow.
  7. Already it's obvious what Jose's main aim in next summers market. A proactive centre half who can play a high block.
  8. I think it's pretty obvious Jose was attached to Lamps and Essien. He also dropped Pepe shortly after kissing him on the head while he leaves the field. Jose is one of the few managers that would happily ditch his favorites for results, on a personal level he's sentimental ill give you that, professionally is a completely different matter.
  9. Like I said on Didier"s thread, Jose has demonstrated many times that he doesn't do sentiments, he made a mistake playing him then keeping him on, but it had nothing to do with chasing 2005.
  10. At Real he basically told Carvalho to fuck off, within a year back here he has let go Essien, Lamps, Cole and dropped Cech. Jose doesn't let emotions get the better of him, he made a mistake keeping Didier on so long, but it has nothing to do with chasing 2005.
  11. I don't want to get in a Torres debate again but he barely worked hard for us, his attitude most of the time was an absolute disgrace. This Torres worked hard myth is the biggest fantasy/excuse ever.
  12. Hopefully this is another game we are "getting thrashed" according to this forum. I enjoyed those games last season.
  13. Drogba is useful in the air and is good in the dressing room, that alone puts him better than Torres is who quite frankly is shite on every level imaginable
  14. Can't blame him, he's 3rd choice for a reason. Hr is ten times more useful than Torres as a squad player, but hopefully his game time is reduced from now on.
  15. Maybe I coincidently catch Liverpool games at the right time but every time I see Coutinho he is absolute dog shit. The game against us (when Suarez bit Ivan) at Anfield just after he joined, I have never seen someone so out of his depth as he was, and he was taken off at half time, ironically Oscar gave us the lead aswell.
  16. That was all a decade ago mind, in the current day Simeone is better equipped at what's required to manage at the top level. AWs methods is a decade out of date. Roy is embarrassing for me, I use to laugh at the time when he was Liverpool manager because he was embarrassing them but he said some cringeworthy stuff (off the top of my head calling a win at Bolton a famous victory, and saying his achievements in Scandinavia should get him recognition on par with Fergie ) then if that's not enough he gets the England job tells a London Underground passenger Rio England career is over, then said Oxlade Chamberlain did well against Pirlo and Ambrosini vs AC Milan, one left the previous summer, the other weren't playing Im starting to think he might be a troll.
  17. I can see them doing that at Anfield let alone the Bernabeu.
  18. If we don't beat Arsenal at Stamford Bridge then we need to slap ourselves with a wet fish.
  19. Still stands in the grande scheme of things, they look a shadow of the team they were at any point last season.
  20. Capello did a good job with England despite the WC in SA, 100 times better than Roy Hodgson who frankly makes me cringe with embarrassment. And Wenger above Simeone?
  21. Liverpool look clueless, is Brendan getting found out already?
  22. Arsenal and Liverpool at The Bridge last season, neither could cope with us, one got a hammering and the other should have.
  23. If Arsenal want to move on and compete at the top again they need to replace Wenger, his tactics are a decade out of date, he makes the same error's time after time after time, how many times does he need to lose a big game or get tactically bent over by his peers before he wakes up? Even Moyes did a number on him last season. Arsenal can't really sack him tho, because in his defence he built up the club to the size and income it has today, you can't take that away from him, so they have to put upwith it until he decides to leave, which as a Chelsea fan im delighted about, a modern tactically astute manager like say Simeone would have Arsenal as a title and CL contender without a shadow of a doubt.
