  1. Cream will rise eventually, its a horrible situation right now, but we won't be next to relegation for long, whether performances will improve is doubtful, but results will sooner rather than later.
  2. Early days but it signs are good so far in one regard with Kennedy and RLC, the other one needs work on mind
  3. This this and this. I don't think he has had as bad starts but im sure Fergie oversaw runs as bad as this
  4. I'm not saying he shouldn't be criticised, its when you said if it was Benitez, that's the part I challenged, of course he would have got a lot harsher criticism, Mourinho no matter what happens from now is a legend in this club, Benitez ain't. The same way Zola could return to manage us, relegate us, yet the fans will still love him, compared to if some randomer came in and did the same then he would be universally despised for taking us down. The bit about Hodgsdon/Dalglish is the former got chased out of Anfield for a poor spell at the club, Dalglish has an even worse spell in 2012 and is still a hero, point being if you have already built a legacy at a club like Mou and Kenny has here and in Scouseville respectively, there will be people that cut him some slack when they hit the skids.
  5. I said last two seasons off hisfirst spell, which was 10/11 and 11/12.
  6. Allright then, if Hodgsdon took Liverpool to there worst home record in half a century he would hace got chased out of Scouseville, but because it was Dalglish......... Also Drogba was #1 for the most part, Carlo and AVB both gave Torres a chance but it weren't long before both reverted back to Didier.
  7. Maybe, but if the justification for players to start is well Ivanovic plays then we might aswell get Paulo to put his boots back on.
  8. This if it was Benitez is the most awful comparison ever.Of course Jose is going to get more leeway than Benitez with the average Chelsea supporter, because of what he has done at the club (no I'm not saying we should blindly back him because of past glories, but its the way football is, supporters build emotional connections with players and managers that won't evaporate after 5 games). Drogba was average in his last two seasons off the first spell up until the last two months, did you confront anyone who cutting Drogba a bit if slack with "if that was Pizzaro you would want him sold immediately"? No because Drogba done enough to earn a bit of leeway, Pizzaro didn't. When Cech had that wobble in 13/14 did you turn around and say "if that was Turnbull......"? Or anyone cutting Terry a bit of slack at the minute with "if that was Ben Haim"?
  9. They have different styles of play, but they are at a similar level, heck even their journeys in England are remarkably similar. Both sign in January for a club that go down but they do quite well despite that, then sign for Newcastle and do really well then they go to Chelsea, have a decent scoring ratio and do relatively well, but both have tactical flaws that will always prevent them being #1 at a top club.
  10. Remys Chelsea career is actually quite similar to Ba's, yet for some reason one gets passionately defended to the point some even want him as #1 yet the other got no one cared about when he left.
  11. In a weirdly perverse way I enjoy it when we have a bad spell. That's when I tend to shout my support evenlouder than when we win, then I get United fans flocking my Facebook with the "you do realise your shit at the moment" type of response, which sums it up #notallonlysingwhentheywin.
  12. Absolutely it could go very wrong but if i am told we will only win one of these four I would lump as much cash as I can on it being Arsenal. Even in the Shield they barely created anything in a period were every one else is cutting us open at will, they still have a mental block against us and I still think we will beat them.
  13. He wasn't that bad in his first two seasons, he was better then than he was post 2008 double season aside. He offered much more than goals but a firing Didier was something else, 09/10 38 goals in 41 games with only one pen was insane, apart from Messi and Ronaldo, has anyone acculmanated those type of numbers without the aid of penalties (i know Messi and Ronaldo take pens, but even without they still have record breaking numbers). He doesn't get put in the same bracket as Henry, Cantona etc because of his overall consistency over the 8 years, but I don't think even they matched or toped Drogbas performance in 09/10, he was insane.
  14. You ridiculed me for my opinion a few times, but I didn't cover myself in glory with the way I reacted some times, like I said I'm prepared to draw a line under it all of you are.
  15. Challenge my opinions and not me as a person and you're never have an remote issue with me again, I'll agree to the same back, believe it or not you were actually one of my favroite posters when I first joined.
  16. Tel Aviv, Arsenal, Walsall and Newcastle are our next four games. Hopefully we will win on Wednesday and I think we will beat Arsenal purely due to the mental block they have when facing us, Walsall we should win and Newcastle will be tough but law of averages owe us one up there. If we can win these four which is defiantly doable then at least some form of order will be restored.
  17. I have never actually reported you, I once asked one of the staff why you get away with so much, but officially reporting people isn't my style. I never said you got Kojo banned, I said he use to get bollocked for less, I didnt realise he called you that mind so I guess I was wrong and for that I apologize. And you can't pm me because I put you on ignore a while back when I had a laptop, I had a change of heart since that broke but on phone I can't officially unignore you as far as I'm aware.
  18. He's a decent PL level goalscorer but this pining after him every time our strikers aren't on the best of form is incredibly tedious.
  19. If Costa plays six season's with us and hits 20 plus goals in 4-5 of them, all off a sudden any limitation he has would be forgotten and there would be hundreds of posts pining for him when our new long term striker has a sticky spell. Nature of the beast i guess.
  20. I'm not perfect but I have never gone as far as calling a well respected member like Viper a fantastic and whatnot.I dont recall him posting since then, but that's none of my business
  21. Exactly, Drogba is a bonafide Chelsea legend and i think that plus the fact his last action of both spells here was on the parade bus down kings road makes some people forget that Drogba was frustrating a lot of the time, some games he didn't bother against shit teams, I don't think we will ever have that problem with Diego.
  22. 5 games is no time to Say Costas done or Lukaku has over taken him, especially as in the middle Costa had a brilliant performance at West Brom.
  23. Well done you've taken another personal swipe at someone and will probably get away with It again ?
  24. Better get the offside calculator out.
  25. I remember saying just after the Arsenal game last season (when Costa hit home his 9th goal in seven games) that as soon as he hits a bad spell which coincides with Lukaku scoring a few, the Lukaku is the best brigade would be back with a bang.I just didn't quite realise just how right I would turn out to be.............
