Scouse loving pundits when the players were coming out "I can't see Liverpool blowing this lead can you?" 17 seconds after the restart, 1-1
-
I think we were second in that particular table after the Villa game but since then our heads have been on the beach/Euro's. Although it's quite funny Liverpool are only one point better off afterall all this Klopp wankfest.

There is one of two ways Conte's Chelsea career is going to go. He's either going to be a roaring success to the point it will be like having 2005 Jose back or he's going to be a complete disaster, there's going to be no inbetween with this guy, it's one or the other!!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/05/17/richard-wright-won-as-much-as-eden-hazard-in-four-years-at-man-c/ Just when you think Journos couldn't get any worse, that's the kind of shit I say to opposition fans when I'm deliberately on the wind up.

The board can only be used as an excuse to a point, if managers are making constant bluders with selections and tactics, then that's on him and only him.
-
Of course he doesn't have to take the offer to prove he loves the club or the fans, but I'm sorry I just simply don't subscribe to the theory he Is being shat on. He has been paid well by us all over his career, we have also surrounded him with some great player's that has helped him pick up every trophy that he can possibly win (at Chelsea) and in return has given us nearly two decades of great service and performances, it's been an extremely mutually successful relationship. But, ultimately, all things come to an end at some point, and while his Chelsea career may live another year, in my opinion his days of being a regular starter has long gone (I was hoping he would be one of the rare players that stay close to their prime until 40, but he has fallen off a cliff performance wise this season), and his wages have to mirror his role in the squad, same happened with Scholes and Giggs but were United shitting on them?

West Brom played us off the park for the first half, we got the second just before half time then their heads dropped but until then it looked like we were dropping point's. Wigan was actually a worrying sign of what was to come, we could barely create anything just on that occasion we happened to score from every chance we created, and that wasn't sustainable all through the season as was proved. Being on plus 20 goal difference was very flattering after 5 games, but as soon as things started unravelling we were found out, the Sunderland game wasn't a shocker that came by out of the blue, if it weren't for Cech Arsenal and Wolves would have both comfortably won by a similar scoreline at The Bridge close to that match, which is why i don't buy the myth that Wilkins getting sacked derailed us, we were nosediving that year whoever the assistant was. It was very lucky we managed to pull the 15 points and plus 20 goal difference off the first five games because that was holding us up like a bra for the rest of the season (a bit like how Citys first five games has for them this time round) and helped us get 2nd, if their was ever a misleading position in the table that was it. 10/11 was a better season than this purely because of the fact we made CL football, but looking at the impact it has had on the club in the long run, this summer with a good window we can repair a fair chunk of the damage done this year whereas that season set us back years in fact we are still feeling the affect of that season to this day.

November 2010? It was obvious from the get go in my opinion, despite winning both 6-0 i saw a lot of things I didn't like against both West Brom and Wigan. The difference between that season and this was the ridiculous mentality of the players helped us get results we quite frankly didn't deserve, despite this season being complete shit we actually pulled off some convincing performances our 10/11 team would never have managed (Newcastle 5-1, Palace 3-0, Anfield for a lot of the game), I can't think of one convining display in 10/11, not one.
-
If he does a shit job he will be sacked, if he does a good job he will stay, it's that simple. I'd rather that than stick with some shit manager just for the sake of time and stability, Arsene Wenger and Louis Van Gaal (if he somehow swindles a 3rd season at United) are walking reasons to fully embrace the sacking culture.
-
Blaming the hierarchy is an easy copout that many unfortunately take. Like you alluded to they haven't been perfect beyond any stretch of the imagination, but some of the sheer comments and conspiracy theories about the higher powers since Jose's sacking especially have been cringeworthy. Last time the hate on the board/Emanalo was this bad was the last days of AVB (Gourlay especially copping a lot of pelters), only for us to have a great window in 2012, que lots of comical backtracking. I get football is an emotional sport, but there's a fine line between critisism and faux outrage, a line football supporters (not just Chelsea fans) regularly cross, the comments sections in the match of the day Facebook page makes for especially painful reading and I am always fighting the urge to put some of those lunatics straight.

He isn't anywhere near as good as Navas or Tibo.
-
Here's a stat, since 2006, their has only been one away win in seven for teams after they have secured the title. Leicester players have probably been letting their hair down all week and hopefully we can take advantage of that like West Brom did with us this time last year.
-
Sorry but i dont buy this JT being shat on by the club theory that 99.99% of our fans appear to believe in. It's an easy cop out for me.But i don't see this loyalty as always being one sided.I think it has been under stated how loyal the club has been to him over the years.Ultimately it has been a relationship that has benefitted both club and player. JT has given Chelsea FC his best. But he's been very well rewarded. And the club have also surrounded him with players that have helped him win every trophy you can at European Club Level.I'm not saying to prove his loyalty he should accept the club's offer whatever it is......but I just don't see him as being shat on.

Ive came to the conclusion conclusion him and Costa on the same team doesn't really work. Both from an individual perspective aren't great technicaly but it can be worked around, like with Pedro at Barca, Villa and Messi made up for Pedros limitations and some, and Pedro did what he was good at which is movement and combinations. In that sense Pedro is probably best equipped out of our attackers to play with Eden, buton the other hand, Costa's movement causes numerous inroads and bar the first half of this season, his scoring record is brilliant. Basically in short, both have qualities they can bring to the table but I think two technically limited players in attack is too much, so it comes down to one or the other, and as much as I like Pedro, for me the choice is Diego.

I hope JCS will get an audition, because Zouma, in my opinion, won't be fully recovered till late season at the earliest and Andreas looking like he's staying in Germany, this would be an ideal chance for Jake to show us he's got something. Although now JT has almost got.a new deal I can't see it, if there's one positive Terry leaving could have brung is that Jake would have started the season as immediate back up behind Cahill and the new signing.
-
Zouma needs to be treated with extra care when he is back, ACLs are a nightmare for player's that rely on speed and athleticism like Kurt does. As much as Wenger has got things laughably wrong in the last decade, one thing he does get right is his slow rebleeding of players returning from serious injuries.
-
I don't hate them, buy I can't pretend I doesn't sting. Beckham got shafted at United but you didn't see him rock up at Liverpool, City or Chelsea.
-
We had no choice but to sack him, the second coming became broken beyond repair, and this is coming from one of Jose's biggest backers. Still doesn't mean we can't be upset that this is the third summer in a row that a club legend has gone to a rival without a second thought, just puts it into perspective just how immortal JT and Drogba are.
-
Unless we get Navas as part of the deal, I can't think of any realistically attainable keeper that wouldn't be a massive step down.
-
In a reverse way it might work in our favour moving forward, when things weren't great in the past the shadow of those two (Jose especially) loomed large, their was this belief amounsgt the fanbase that if one of those two returned everything would be rosy again, and that put a lot of pressure on the manager at the time. Now both have demonstrated they aren't the magicians that they looked like in their first spells, Conte basically comes in with a blank canvas, a chance to truly move on from the past Into a new era.

If we hypothetically had prime Ashley Cole here now, and he was having an not so great campaign after 5 world class years, would we be demanding he is dropped for an unproven Baba who is also hardly lighting up the world? I alluded earlier that you can't really critisise Begovic for his mistakes pre se, purely because he wouldn't be second choice if he was world class and its not like he looks like he's sabotaging us like Turnbull was, the only reason I bring it up is because people think he's good enough to be number one, I remember kopping a lot of stick this time last year for saying Remy would never be better than a squad option, fast forward a year and nearly everyone now thinks that. I think it's more down to the fact we literally had no squad depth between 2010-2012 because since then any reliable squad player fans have got giddy and started thinking they are good enough to start regularly, Begovic this year, Remy last year, Bertrand and Moses before that, even Schwarzer was being hailed as capable of seriously pushing Cech. I can't recall anyone being as desperate for the likes of Belletti and Kalou to turn into regulars.
-
He shares a problem with Remy and that is neither are good enough to be anything other than squad players. They have both at various times filled in and did good jobs which gave some sort of false illusion to some that they were good enough to start regularly.
-
That he may be, but it show that quality player's will take that gamble, especially on a club that is in it almost every season. And United had no European footy that season either.
-
I will settle for matching/bettering Stokes result. Finishing in a double digit position will be humiliating, not that 9th would look great, but still.......
-
Can't expect the back up to be perfect, but I can't believe people want him to be number 1 if Courtois left or worse wanted Tibo dropped for him.
