I'm on a couple of other forums, and on both places trolls are dealt with within days, i can't understand why they last for weeks sometimes months here.

Sorry i never got the notification for this. Tbh i don't mind things getting a bit heated, it can happen especially when it comes to something they love, what i don't like are people who are on here just for one purpose and that's to antagonise other people, that Gullit the latest example and Bellion (named after an ex United player), their post's only ever consist of the same shite that they know will atagonise people. Maybe the staff believe in chances which ofcourse is not a bad thing, i just believe this would be a better place if the obvious trolls got identified early, a much bigger problem than the occasion slinging of insults (usually in the heat of the moment) in my opinion.

Obvious troll like i said, the only thing i can say is at least he wasn't daft enough to name himself after an ex Man.Utd player like a certain other troll poster.

So wait, you think Conte is the wrong man for the job based on two game's were his quick thinking and subs turned one point Into six? Were in one game his tactics limited a team that finished above us last season to one half chance which unfortunately they scored from. I don't even know why I'm replying to such an obvious troll but hey ho.

Come on, so if we signed Klavan, a 30 year old who has proven nothing to suggest he's good enough upto yet in his career, for £5m you'd be happy? Also we did have a CB done early, but he done his ACL and funny thing is, no one wanted him.

This is a tough conundrum, Burnley played with two banks of four vs Liverpool, so logic suggest's this lineup -----------------------------Courtois---------------- Usual back four getting depressing writing -----------------------Kante------Cesc----------------- Willian-------------Costa------Bats--------Hazard That will give us the best chance of creating inroads against them and we could potentially get a couple early on, what worries me however is the rare occasions Burnley had the ball against Liverpool they looked capable of scoring every single time, and we could be exposed on the counter, as much as we could get a couple early on we could easily get into early trouble too.

If he returned it won't be thanks to the FA, it will be because Big Sam sweet talked him, if this happens this will be Sam's doing and only his.

Pure luck? This kind of notion really pisses me off, two things Chelsea fans were crying out for last season was a manager who reacted to adverse situations and a team that kept fighting till the end, already in the first two games we've had both and its dismissed as luck, also did you actually watch the West Ham game? We totally dominated the game and they scored from their only opening. Do you actually watch the games or just assume the way it goes by the score? Draw or lose automatically crap, 1 goal win its lucky, 2 goal win all right and 3 or more goals amazing, am i right?

A year to the day on from the West Brom game (Pedro's debut), similar pattern happens. 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 half time, opposition score and we are hanging on a bit, let's hope the next home game goes better than last time.

Saying Kante is a Ramires replacement is like us selling Remy this summer signing Suarez in January and saying we finally replaced Remy, N Golo is light years above Ramires. I don't think it's enough alone, but the fact that we have signed Kante and are actively chasing Koulibaly suggest's that they are seriously trying to fix things, also thanks to the Batshauyi signing our striker options are as good as they have been since the double winning season. If City and United just simply payed the money, the deals would have been done a lot earlier than the week before the season started, but like i alluded to, they are not dealing with such a stubborn chairman, take the time United were for example, in 2008 they spent all summer dealing with Daniel Levy to try and get Berbatov to Old Trafford, when was the deal done? the very last moment of the window. Of Course it can get frustrating but some comments imo are well, well over the top,

Only Chelsea fans could slate the board the same summer we sign the reason the PL champions were the PL champions. Hummels was always going to Bayern and Bailey and Stones aren't the type of defensive profile we need right now, we already have one top CB prospect with another to come next summer, we need one in his prime (and world class/borderline if possible) which is why we are going all out for Koulibaly because he is the only one that fits that bracket that is even remotely attainable. We have already fixed two area's that have been a problem for years, an athletic CM along with a very good second striker, the board are trying their hardest to bring in Kalidou but unlike those clubs with those CBs, they aren't dealing with De Laurentis.

I'm sorry but no way in hell would Moses help ease the burden on Hazard, he's failed on 3 PL loans for a reason.
-
Looking back we got quite lucky that Deschamps dropped him in the latter stages of the Euro's considering Payet and Koscielny are struggling for match fitness.
-
Begovic, Aina, Ivan, Tomori, Cesar, Moses, Ruben, Cesc, Pedro, Bats, Remy. Bats and Cesc play to gain some minutes, Cesar because theres no one else, all the other crucial players should be rested, imagine is they get an injury here? Especially Hazard or Kante. Obviously I'd rather win than not but the league is so crucial this season I wouldn't lose that much sleep if we lost this, which would be very much a possibility with that team above.

Watching Burnley play Liverpool today gives me a bit of a headache thinking about how Antonio should set up against them when they come here next weekend. Burnley played two banks of four behind the ball and restricted Liverpool too long shots, we are almost certainly going to face that, so in theory Cesc and Bats in the Xl and reverting to 4-4-2 is the most logical choice but on the flip side Burnley countered really well when they had the ball so that could be a serious problem with our defense and only Kante to protect them.

Leicester's title win makes more sense with every passing week.
-
Liverpool under Klopp seems to be running a common theme. They look irresistable against a good team, media and Liverpool fans bang on about how they are going places under Jurgen, then they drop points the next game with a miserable dispay vs an average team
-
Is this the same Liverpool that are currently getting their pants pulled down by a newly promoted aide? Or Arsenal who haven't scored against us for years? Things aren't great right now but let's not exaggarate.
-
I can't watch this game but I'm avoiding this thread. Given we played well Monday and their was still moaning I can't imagine this being a different song unless we get a couple early.
-
So the game the Pep is overrated brigade have been waiting for for years, and he smashes Stoke off the park. Awkward!!!!!
-
I see Cuadrado is the new Bertrand, ie gets better the more he doesn't play.
-
He's not a bad player but the fact is he's got no pedigree at the top flight and his two opportunities in top flight teams he couldn't get near the lineup on either occasion. Its just rather ironic and borderline hypocritical that fans blast the club for lack of ambition signing the likes of Papy and being linked with the likes of Kone, yet want a player with even less pedigree than them two integrated in the side, I could understand an 18 year old with potential who hasn't had the platform to showcase his talents, but Nat has, at two top flight teams. And it's not just with Chalobah, Kalas was a squad player for a championship side yet a lot of people wanted him back, imagine if we signed outright a similar profile of player? At a push Nate could become a John O Shea like reliable squad player, but I will be truly amazed if he becomes more than that.
-
Can you make one post without moaning and swearing? just one.
-
What's this desperation to get Chalobah to play, he's had two spells at top flight clubs and couldn't buy a game, if we signed him this summer he would be instantly wrote off as another Papy but because he was on loan he is the answer to our midfield prayers Same with Kalas and Bamford last season, i don't get it, the ironic thing is Papy is more proven in major league's than those three are as well.
-
Although that is brutal I agree in general, if we signed a player outright who hardly played for Napoli the season before he would instantly be dismissed as another Papy yet because he's one of our loanees he's some sort of answer to our problems Maybe he can fill a roll as back up to the back ups like he did in Naples but can't see any further action for him.
