I know what you mean, people will be totally different if the scorelines big and actually think we are good enough, not many people on this forum but the Board i think is one of them, i think that will be one huge positive if we lose this next match or draw, that the board just might be able to open there eyes a bit more, not just spending but giving other players a chance. We have a bad reputation with youth, a lot of people think Lukaku will be gone in a few years on free transfer it's that bad... most of all though McEachran on that bench in a concecutive 3 games is criminal, with the way we've been playing too, why not try something different out?...

Haha, i think it started last season... but i can't blame anyone, with the players we have at the moment how can we expect big things?, my only hope is with the new manager, hopefully what he can do can make the team play much better.

I have to agree, even though it's early i really thought we would of had some rotation against Norwich. And to be honest i think we would do a lot better with our younger players than the ones we've got now, i think we can win this, but with this squad do not be surprised if we have some trouble, just like we had against West Brom.

Lampard is starting again???, why isnt McEachran playing!?. Anyway good to see Anelka there instead of Kalou, and hopefully Mata will come on for Malouda and have a very good game, so he can be our starting left winger.

Your right it could be argued if some of our youth is good enough, but how would we know when we never see them play... But it doesn't help with us having so many different managers in the past years, however with AVB hasn't played any young players, but its only been two games to be fair, hopefully we will see a lot of players get their chance and seeing the likes of Lampard and Malouda on the bench for once, Sturridge definitely needs to start, shame he couldn't start next game, that 3 games ban is incredibly harsh in my opinion.

I have noticed that Manchester City don't get as much grief as we do, as a matter of fact i worked out all of the money we have spent on transfers, and in total we have spend over 600 million while they have spent over 400 million, and its concerning since we are going into our 9th season and they are going into there 4th season. At least we where a good side like you mentioned, City before there money where a poor team for years, winning there first trophy in like 38 years was it?. I generally think other supporters are blinded by hatred, because Chelsea has won more things than City which enforces more jealousy, especially from liverpool fans who still have to win a premier league. They call us a shit club with no history, yet you could bring up a club like wolves, and they would say Wovles a good club which i respect, but if that club got bought by billionaires tomorow then was challenging for the title they would slate that club for being shit, and having no history. In my opinion it's hatred, Liverpool supporters are the worst for it though, but it makes sense since they havent won anything in ages besides a Champions League, so they have been angered when they have seen teams such as Chelsea at the top of the league

Luiz is great, I even saw a thread in the arsenal forum and the topic creator said he makes Vermaelen look average. The Man City match everyone on here gave him a 10, and that's really rare on this forum. And yes, we then had 2 weeks off to take us out of form, just do we cud play Stoke And get smashed. Luiz struggled and we needed Alex for that match. But after that he wasn't playin top level for the rest of the season and was being very clumsy and even gave away an unecessary penalty against the brummies. But hopefully his rest done him good. And I hope we can see the great David Luiz we had last season when we first bought him.

Plus he will get his game at Chelsea, since everyone in the world knows we need a winger, where's if he went to spurs, I bet Harry wud start Bale over him.

I don't even think Cleverly is good enough at all, he wad pretty average today and in west Brom match. I can't see a great player in him, but since Ferguson is playing him I'm probs wrong.

I don't think this is our season, even if we do get Modric. I think we left stuff to late, however I want to see improvement, and a trophy would be great. If AVB finishes top 4, I want him to stay and get stability and good backing, otherwise this club will never move forward. City play great football,as do United. Liverpool will probably do better than us this season if we don't sign a midfielder.

Chamberlain isn't just pace though, he can cross a ball, and he goes down the middle a lot, and he scored some amazing goals from angles, however there not ones you can score in the Prem, he scored 2 type of goals Drogba did against Hull. Though Drogba admitted after the match it was a cross, but then again I font know what chamberlain said.
