That is an ignorant post to be fair mate, you can't say that, there is reason for people wanting Mikel gone. The evidence was there he had a bad season, even Skipper admits that. Your argument has been that he is good enough for the team and will show that in the future, he hasn't shown that yet and this argument has been going on for a year and a half? So it's ignorant to say that all this is just because we need someone as a scapegoat.

They reached the semi finals because they where drawn against Inter Milan in the quarters. Inter Milan declined massively that season, they ended up beating them 5-2 at there own ground. Then Schalke where put to shame by Man United and I mean put to shame, United should've scored about 8 and that's no exaggeration, if it wasn't for the wonder kid sensation that is Manuel Neur they would have been embarrassed that game. Neur saved about 6 one on ones. Then United beat them 4-1 in the 2nd leg whilst playing there B team, Schalke where an embarrassment against United, I have never seen a team fold so easily. They are better now, they have quality players but we are still capable of beating them. I'm just happy we haven't got a team like Dortmund, PSG, Napoli or Juventus in the group, that's the last thing we would of needed.

Interesting theory. Eto's main part of his game was his acceleration, that doesn't mean he was Theo Walcott, that just means in his prime he was extremely dangerous and when a player loses that main attribute to his game it affects all others. I believe 90 percent of good players have a formula, and that allows them mental strength such as confidence to do well in other things. Malouda was a great example because when he lost his pace he lost everything. He couldn't dribble, he couldn't cross, he couldn't pass and he just turned into a huge liability for us. It then turned to one of the best left wingers in the world who we could always rely on to letting us down all the time. Other teams used to be terrified when he had the ball, then we where terrified when he had the ball, then next thing you know he's playing Van Persie in to make it 4-3. I am hoping Eto'o is going to shut my post up and score goals, but if physics intervene then what can we do but face reality that Eto'o is just simply not good enough. Honestly though I'm really hoping he will come here and do really well, I didn't want the transfer to happen but now that it's happened we need to show him the full support and when he plays against Everton lets make sure we see a good performance.

In all honestly I can't deny that I was a lot more argumentative then. I could of argued with a brick wall, even going back through some pages I got angry so easily I can't believe how on edge I was sometimes. Sorry I was being a bit clingy there, yes I know what you mean. It's just some of the doubt is understandable and some isn't. If England has always lacked something in players then it's the technical type of players. Steven Gerrard no matter how many may think he is not technical at all. He's a brilliant player and I've even rated him higher than Lampard but he's not someone who should be in the starting eleven. Barkley and Zaha need to start playing more games, Wilshere is one of the best english assets we've had in a long time and since when have we ever had a forward like Daniel Sturridge? So can we stop putting fucking Ricky Lambert up top. Hart Johnson-Cahill-Jones-Cole Carrick-Wilshere Chamberlain-Barkley-Rooney Sturridge That might seem unrealistic but look at what Germany did, we have to start getting these young players in and then maybe we can actually win something for once or at least do well. I want to see England play well and give it a good tournament, not play bad and scrape wins just to get drawn by a good team and then get knocked out. Walcott is only pace, his passing is average, crossing is average, his first touch and ball control is very average. We need players who can cope under pressure, Walcott can't he needs space, unless we are just going to typical England counter attack Walcott is useless for us. But known Roy it's going to be the same stupid team with Gerrard and Lampard in the middle, then Milner and Walcott as our wingers and of course the great Danny Welbeck upfront.

Roy is a terrible choice for England. We haven't played good football under him once, not once, even against San Marino we where average. The Euros was so painful to watch as most teams kicked our arses and we still managed to win two games somehow, then got played off the park by Italy. Please sack him before the World Cup he's only going to ruin it, we play boring boring boring football. We wont get anywhere. I'm not getting ahead of myself when I say this but England is actually starting to produce some very good technical players, players which have flair and ideas, not just determination and legs. Players like Wilshere, Chamberlain, Barkley and Sturridge are very exciting prospects, not fucking Danny Welbeck, Kyle Walker and Tom Cleverly, they are just average joes who can run around. Honeslty I would start playing Carrick a lot more too, someone who adds more to it rather than Gerrard who will just hoof the ball upfield, at least Carrick is more technical and will provide more insight on the ground. Why we aren't playing Sturridge is just criminal it really is, especially when Welbeck is getting played, he may score a nice goal now and then but it doesn't make up for a below average 90 minutes of playing.

We pay Cech to do his duty, we've gave him support, we don't owe him that much. Letting go of Courtois or even sending him for another year just to keep Cech isn't right, a decision will have to be made and I really hope we go for Courtois on this one.

Wow well done on printscreening and hiding the other posts whilst doing it and showing only mine. First one was only a laugh, I'm actually quite a very good friend with Kieron we used to message each other a lot. That was on the Hall of Fame thread because he was the only one who didn't find backstreetes reply to Choulo funny, so I had a laugh with him and he knows that. 2nd one was when I was being stupid and sarcastic, can't remember which thread but I wasn't being serious, I do that sometimes. It's called not being over the top, however you wouldn't know that as you do this 100 times per day.
