Spurs had a fantastic start but just haven't been in it since the Arsenal goal. Either the team needs time or they are going to kick-start sometime else during this season. All there players so far this game have looked more like individuals rather than a team.
-
Spurs are dominating here.
-
I hope the north london derby is better than that boring game. One thing I must say though Spurs and Arsenal rarely have boring games, most games I've seen of them there have been a shit load of goals.
-
Coutinho always goes missing in the big games.
-
You do know that today is transfer deadline day don't you? Yes your american but the time Arsenal play Spurs the deadline day will be closed before the game.
-
He didn't have a good game but he did have his work cut out for him. As Zolayes said Ribery was almost unplayable that night, he couldn't be stopped in the first half, however the work rate wasn't good enough. I expected more form Ramires and Schurrle to come back and help with Ivanovic. However Schurrle did have his hands full with Alaba, but Ramires was the one who was leaving Ivanovic one on one with Ribery. Not a good game from him but it doesn't matter, we will move on and these sort of things don't affect Ramires, he will probably be man of the match next game.

But they're not against Mourinho. The fans on this forum have always been like that, I've known that since I've been a member here and I signed for this forum 3 years ago. Sam has just been starting controversy since Mourinho even joined, he called Michael Essien a cunt and a disgrace just because he had it in his head that Mourinho was going to play him every game. Anyone who says things like that isn't a real fan, that's just plain disgraceful. Sorry but if Rupert got banned then so should this guy.
-
I'll hate to see the look on your manager when we play you then, and bear in mind I'm talking about before the game.
-
You're the only one who does criticize Mourinho mate
-
Nope, I don't think I ever said that, maybe a year ago when he was playing bad and I was in knee jerk mode, forgive me man But when Barca apparently offered 40 million for him a week ago, I said we should accept. Now I have changed my mind, he's already back to how he was this season, I think he's going to be a great player.
-
But you have constantly been arguing about it, enough is enough, we get it you don't like Mourinho but this is getting silly. When Rupert was banned it was clearly evident the forum don't take a liking to people arguing about the same things, so why don't you just stop? Not once have I insulted you and I'm not putting you down with sarcasm or anything I'M TELLING YOU that you need to have a limit. It's almost every thread we lose in you want to start another argument about Mourinho which goes on for 10 pages, and that's no lie because the match thread we are on now has went on for over that. I've been offensive in the past, I've called peoples name in the past, but notice something? That was in the past. Since coming back from my ban I haven't insulted one member directly, I'm respecting opinions but not all opinions have to be respected. Because some go too far, if someone agreed with terrorism, do i have to respect that opinion? No I certainly don't, that's just a borderline example, that's not comparing so before you jump to another boat which always do I'm not saying any debates are close to people agreeing with terrorism, it's just an example.
-
Just from the match thread alone you've called two people idiots. I haven't been hostile to you once even if I am the ones who disagree with you most, even go through it I haven't insulted. But you do be controversial for the sake of it, it's always you who takes the side everyone disagrees with. And the Mourinho argument isn't convincing in the slightest and never has been. And you also never know when to stop with your arguments, you dash to a brand new argument or bring something else up quickly. You also miss the point entirely when you've been proven wrong just to start a new argument and sidetrack the old one, you did this exact thing today to me in the match thread when I made I quoted you for the 2nd time in the thread. So this thread isn't convincing me when you're out there insulting people as well, at least have something to back yourself up with. Because what you've said to people could class as a 5 point warning.

The biggest mistake I ever made was being negative about this guy when we first signed him. What a fucking performance, he was out of this world. I have never seen anyone been able to do what he did. I'm not going off the boarder here but his first touches where better than Messi's that's no exaggeration, he turned every single player. Honestly this guy is a serial rapist after tonight, Lahm and Boateng now have bigger arse holes than Frankie goes to Hollywood. I love this guy, honestly if we do win the title it will be down to him, everytime he gets the ball he does something with it, I'm so confident with him. It's came to the point that I am relieved just like we've cleared the ball outside the box whilst defending a 1-0 lead in the last minute. Fantastic player, I really hope he stays at Chelsea for a long time.

Kakuta was always overrated in my opinion. He looked flashy at the beginning, great long shots, wanted to prove a point. But he had all the time in the world to come back and he just didn't. We sent him on loan to Bolton, Fulham hell didn't we even send him to an affiliate? No matter what he just wouldn't impress. Lukaku is miles ahead of Kakuta in my opinion, I don't think the league cup affected Kakuta I just don't think Kakuta was ever going to be world class to begin with.

We are still transition people! Bayern are having there time now, they are in there prime, they have spent years building not just a team but a squad, they can outplay just about anyone. Robben and Ribery have been their like what? 5-6 years? Compare our team now to the team we had in Carlos 2nd season, it's almost completely different, and that was what over 2 years ago? I'm not going to bother arguing with Sam because he's the type of person who would argue against a fact just for the sake of being controversial. I really don't see what option Mourinho had, I bet you any money it would've been a disaster if we had went out in attack mode, Di Mateo did that against Juventus and Attletico last season, remember those games? I dread to think what Bayern would've done to us.
-
Did you ever criticize RDM then? Oh no of course you didn't because he won, so guess that's not the point is it? Lets face it you're just being controversial, you know far well we couldn't of done anything else. Had we of moved further forward it would've left more space for Bayern to come in, and did you not notice we had 10 men? 10 men meaning we are the ones running about whilst they constantly have the ball, we had 10 very tired men whilst they where toying with us with the ball looking for options. Now what why would it ever come into your head to put your players further up and have more space to cover? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? WELL YOU WOULDN'T DO THAT! So stop with this stupid argument CASE FUCKING CLOSED
-
Exactly, what baffles me is how so many people on this forum are saying he deserved it. He couldn't help show his studs as they where running right at each other, such a stupid decision from the referee, because it wasn't even a bloody foul. And especially when the commentator never said it was a foul yet people are saying it was justified, I think everyones high as a kite tonight, probably explains the Lukaku thread.
-
Probably should have started this game or at least came on earlier, we where in our own half and Jose knew that would happen hence the decision to stick deep all the time even when we where on the ball. The game would've benefited him as he wouldn't of had to cover as much ground, he came on and played well, it just proved it. I'm still not convinced that he can be a starter for a full season however, but he really should have started for me.
-
It was never a 2nd yellow for me just never. He was always getting to the ball first, and sorry but how can he help where he lands? He was running straight to the ball it's a fucking accident, oh what players have to dive out the way once they win the ball now? How anyone can agree with this crap it's fucking ridiculous, look at it from Ramires's perspective how the fuck can he move out the way of it? He has every right to go for that ball as he was first to it, so how the fuck can he help running into him?. What a stupid decision, European referees are the worst, they're stricter than Singapore.
-
I'm sorry to change my mind BUT WE CAN'T SELL HIM He was fucking outstanding today, his long range passing was fucking exceptional, and didn't he get the assist on Hazards goal? Well either way he started a lot of attacks, it's player like him what will create more goals as well as minimizing the ones against us.
-
And all of a sudden we point this out now after he misses a penalty? Well what a fucking coincidence! So no knee jerk reactions then at all then?
-
I'm glad he stepped up to take the penalty, shows huge character and confidence, not just sitting in the shadow. He's going to be hit hard, just like Arjen Robben has been hit hard yet what happened? He came back next season and scored the winner in the CL final. This wont determine Lukaku, he's going to be a class player either way.
-
So Lukaku misses a penalty and that determines if he's going on loan? LMFAO! this forum is getting retarded
