I actually think he is brilliant for them and someone they need to make them even better. While Kroos is a good player, he doesn't seem to be in the class Gotze is, and as I really like Dortmund and watch almost their every game I know what I'm talking about On the other hand, while Muller is a great player, he isn't a technical offensive midfielder who can dribble past opponents and send quality balls, instead he is a good all around player who works his guts of in every match. He loves the club and has been used properly by Bayern which is the reason why he's been so great. Player in the mold of Mata, Silva, Ozil and similar is exactly what Bayern was lacking. And if Lewa comes, I doubt a lot of players in Europe could improve Bayern's lineup. In terms of individual quality, yes, but in terms of general play, effort and style - no. Lewa works great with Mario, and with the way Bayern play, he will excel even more. Besides, both of them have played a very very similar style of football at Dortmund and are well settled in Germany. All that shit aside, I STILL WANT US TO BEAT THEM! :cfc:

Have I ever told you the definition of being shit? GK
-
He is just perfect type of player for Bayern. With Gotze, him and Guardiola they are going to have one hell of a indestructible motherfucking squad ! I have to say I'm really disappointed with him and Gotze...I understand they want to leave, but for Bayern? Shame, but Borrusia will be back, they are already lining kick ass replacements
-
I love it how they say when his primary position is right wing
-
I think the plan is to get Cavani. If that fails, option number 2 is to bring Ibra while Lukaku grinds out another loan, but now with a bigger and more respected squad status then he had it at WBA recently. Time will tell. As I said in my previous post, Ibra would benefit us a lot right away while he would leave space for Lukaku in the not so distant future. Besides, I'm 100% Ibra would like a move to PL as he is considered one of the best strikers yet he hasn't played in it.

My 2 previous posts aside, we can look at Cavani's transfer from another angle. Let's assume he wants to go to Madrid. We approach him, our bid gets accepted and we get to speak to him. As few players will leave the club, our wage budget will increase + if Torres leaves, it would increase even more meaning we can offer him a high wage he would ask or expect. Mourinho brings him in and first tells him: How big of a circus Real Madrid is.Tells him about Essien's birthday party on which only a few teammates came.Tells him why he lost players' support, but of course blaming them (not important if true).Tells him about prima donnas.Tells him that he won't get as much passes and involvement because of Ronaldo. Then Mou tells him that at Chelsea: He would be a number 1 striker with a lot of freedom and importance, both on and off the pitch. He would get more competition and bigger games due to very competitive teams unlike Spain. That Fergie left and United won't be a fucking nuisance as they were before, that Arse just suck, Tottenhem even more meaning ==> BIGGER CHANCES FOR EPL TITLE!Then Jose sprays in some more random stuff to convince him even further as a verbal maestro he is.Finally, tells him that we will invest even more in the squad and that we want to go for all trophies. He accepts that and signs? Edinson you made a proper proper move in your career which you won't be disappointed with. We as fans will give even more support then you would actually deserve since we are desperate for a kick ass striker, and everything will seem kick ass after Torres He rejects all that and still wishes to go to Madrid ? Well fuck off, with that mindset we don't need you anyway
-
More then half of it came just for 3 years at Madrid As he is a Chelsea fan also, good part of it came from watching Torres play for us
-
Won't be coming here. He wants to go to a club where he will be the main man and to start week and week out. He won't get that here as he would get rotated with Ba and Lukaku and would pretty much have a similar spell to what he had with City. Now of course, he could come here if club really decides to go for him and with every player's wet dream to work with Jose which we can fulfill it could happen, but I still doubt it...if we do sign him though, it would be a nice transfer, but I we need a different kind of a player for our strike force anyway since both Ba and Lukaku have similar style to Edin. I see him going to Dortmund or Napoli most likely.

I remember when we played Leverkusen in the CL last 2 times and how Schurrle did against us, and I must say he really impressed me. His dribbling skill seemed to be OVER 9000 and our players were just chasing shadows. As I don't follow Bundesliga all the time, especially Lever, I can't say too much about him, but at 22 years of age and ability to play on both wings and as a striker also, he could prove to be a very good addition to the team, especially considering Marin hasn't done well, Torres probably leaving and me being personally a bit disappointed with Moses. When I look at the maker and available players who can match all of Andre's abilities and price, I must say I am struggling to find any, so it would be a rather good transfer in my eyes.

God I still can't actually believe he is back!

It has begun. WELCOME HOME POPS!!

I'm reading some article about Jose and I stumbled upon this quote Interesting, heard that for the first time
-
Well you do have a point at Robben's quality, he is still a brilliant player who can help the team. He hasn't lost much of his pace though his best days are behind him. Now, here's the catch, there is no way in hell he would agree to come to a club which wouldn't promise him he will be one of the main players. With his injury record, 29 years of age and wages he would ask I believe there are much better options for us to go for. He is 29, there is still some fuel left, and I'm pretty sure he will be looking to move somewhere big but where he will get good wages and a high squad status, like City (who really lack wide players), PSG or Monaco.

Aw man....I just opened our website in hope of finally seeing the annoucement but nothin' ... Oh well, at least Jose confirmed it

I won't ban you, I will buy you a beer and then become gay also hahahaahha

But come on, it's not even official yet

Well you know what? Fuck Cavani. There will always be a mind blowing striker you can sign for shitload of money. I am patient enough to wait a few more seasons for a major trophy if Cavani or someone like him are the difference for it. Why? Because we can make Lukaku into one of the best strikers in the world, and actually do it rather fast. And guess what? With his love for the club he could stay here for quite a while and leave quite a mark. And not only that, we will save some money also. I don't want to leave the wrong impression though. The impression that when we may not sign him, I try to convince myself we are better of without him, because we are not, and won't be.
-
We are actually the best team in the world when it comes to defense (back 4, not defending). Nobody can match our depth and quality. Some teams have either better players but much worse subs for them, and this is what I really like about our defensive players. Hopefully we keep going that way, though I will understand if Jose feels it's not a good thing because we change 2 CBs very often. I just like all of our CBs along with Cole I will be very sad to see some of them go, especially Luiz and Bane Luiz is maybe the best CB for Barca to pick if you exclude Hummels. He would suit their style of play so well that we would strengthen them for years to come. I really hope we don't sell them anyone, Luiz especially. And we are not a bloody selling club, they can fuck of, right now! I believe that if we had better defensive midfielders in the last season, people would really understand just how good our defensive line is, but with Ramires' awful technical ability and Mikel's very often mediocre games, offensive full backs and Mata's weak ability to defend, our defensive line usually had more work to do then usual. Hopefully this is something Jose can adress because it could prove to be a key for our football along with an on form striker.

Tomorrow in the morning, press conference in a few days, pretty much how I would do it. Chelsea will want to grab the headlines first thing in the week and keep it that way with press conference. Just can't bloody wait to see him in a Chelsea gear holding a press conference again! So tomorrow, I will get up, play some Chelsea music, make myself some coffee and hopefully find the announcement :blue scalf:

He could be gone to Madrid with Higuain leaving and them needing a new big name striker. With Falcao gone, it's going to be between Cavani, Lewa and Suarez, though honestly I see them going for Suarez first if his behavior doesn't stop them. I won't be bothered that much if we don't sign him because it will mean more game time for Lukaku, and Lukaku is certainly better now then Cavani was when he was his age ! We can do well with Higuain also if it's for something reasonable. Lukaku and Ba are good enough rotating options for us. I would even expect us giving a good title challengde with Jose at the helm. Best is yet to come from Azpi, Hazard, Oscar, Ba, Lukaku, Moses...

Nicely written post even though I don't agree with 90% of it Thanks for writing such a long response Anyway, one thing I would like to state first and that is that we can't know for sure what is happening in the dressing rooms and on training sessions. Honestly, I get shitload of impressions that there are massive egos at the club and at the club like Real Madrid when pressure is on you even when you are taking a shit, that's can be quite a problem so I believe Jose had his hands really really full for the last 3 years he spent at RM. What really bothers me when people talk about Jose is that he is short term. Well for one, you can still see remnants of his Chelsea squad here who still praise him like he is some sort of god and we all know the managers who have been at the Stamford Bridge after Mou - Grant, Scolari, Hiddink, Ancelotti, Villas-Boas, RDM and Benitez, yet our players still wank on Mou. And what I can tell you is that managing players like Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Crespo, Essien, Shevchenko, Cole, Cech etc was not an easy job. If I'm really sure of something, then that is Mourinho's man management skills. Can't think of a better coach then him when it comes to that. Again I must repeat, we can't really see what is happening behind the courtains so I must base this on what players have spoken of him, my impression and my overall knowledge of everything Short term? Well he is young for one, or let's say, was young. I firmly believe that if you want to really build something long term you need to start winning like crazy first, like we did under Ancelotti in 2009/2010 and then start implementing youngsters and other things like Carlo tried to do but got his sorry ass sacked even though 90% of the fans were against it. It's a bit ungrateful to expect from Jose to start implementing youngsters and thinking long term when there is even more pressure at Madrid to win trophies then it is actually here. You criticize his transfers? Somehow you forgot to mention just awful money throwing Madrid did with transfers of: Robben £30m Sneijder £23m Van der Vaart £12m Kaka £55m Benzema £30m £who hasn't produced the level it was expected of him and Pepe £25m who until everything started falling apart hasn't produced the best of his game until Mourinho came. Beg my pardon but I'm fairly certain Ozil, Di Maria and Khedira did a better job then Robben, Sneijder, Van der Vaart and Kaka did and how much were those 3 payed all together? A mere 43 million £, 12 less RM spent on Kaka only. Fabio Coentrao? A bit overpayed, but hey, welcome to the world of Benfica and Porto. Want their player, you better pay well. Coentrao was the most promising full back in the world back at the time when Madrid was about to bring him in. His inability to satisfy your expectation is not down to Mourinho but to him. Yes, you can argue Mou didn't bring the best out of some players, but as I said at the beginning of this response, we can't see what is happening really so we will get nowhere with discussion around that. For me, Mourinho did a good job with Coentrao but it was Fabio himself who didn't give his best. Football Mourinho brought? Aye, I remember when you were trashed 5-0. Why was that? Oh let's see, because he didn't want to sit back and defend for his 1st El Classico? As it happened, whole of the world got on his back and just that alone is enough to make your bloody hair gray right away For me, it's completely normal not to open up for the next few of games because the players will take some time to forget that huge loss. There were some great games against Barca with Jose at the helm and you can bet your ass that whole of Barcelona was afraid when they had to face Madrid because they knew it was going to be really really really difficult. Just like Manchester and Liverpool fans were shitting their pants when he was here back in the day, when they had to play us, they knew it's something absolutely massive that is going to drain really a lot from them. Jose's 2nd season? He absolutely kicked ass when it comes to football you desire so much. I've said it multiple times and I'll say it again, football Madrid produced in that season was some of the best I have ever bloody seen! I shit on Barca's tiki taka, it was 6x times uglier then what Madrid did in that season. and the 3rd season...I don't know what to say really...I can just throw around pure assumptions and theories on what went wrong but it seems to me I will get nowhere with it because I can't know anything for sure. What I do must say against Jose is the way he dealt with Cassillas' situation. For me, it's completely idiotic to put your captain on the bench, a walking legend and the most respected player at the club, no matter what he says and does to you. Why? Because it will shake whole of the team and bring unrest and that is the worst thing that can happen. Now as I said, I can't know for sure what happened. Perhaps Cassillas' was undermining Jose work? Seems impossible, but nothing is impossible. So all in all, I'm really happy he is coming back and you guys at Madrid should follow his progress in the following seasons to see was it really his fault everything went to hell or was it perhaps something else Oh and good luck with Ancelotti and the kind of football you expect Don't be surprised if he brings Pirlo

As a neutral, I'm sad to see him go there...one of the best strikers in modern football that I've watched ... shame he didn't get a big club transfer to kick some ass ... If it was his choice to go there, then I am very disappointed in him, but I believe it was done because of the 3rd party ownership. As a Chelsea fan, I'm really glad he signed for Monaco, he won't trouble us in PL and he won't trouble us in CL, at least not as much as he could have. Would have been nice if we had signed him, but honestly I believe Cavani is much more suited for us. Still a cracking player, will be nice watching him tear apart teams in France
