Don't like it because of red. It would look much better if we used completely white Yokohama logo (like on fakey below) and kicked off all that red. The only red I tolerate is the red Costa lets flow when we face Liverpool, Arsenal or United. If that's our kit I'm disappointed. Ugliest one I remember we've worn in the last 10 years. Yeah it's down to personal taste, but somehow this just seems a 2nd tier adidas kit to me compared to Real, Bayern and Manu. Even Cardiff's kits look more serious ffs. I'm really hoping is just some random fake, or that adidas created a few and is just trying to feel the fans reaction.

Can't compare to Mikel and Matic, but I'm surprised that people are under impression Witsel is a strong defensive midfielder. He's more of a good all around mid who's more oriented to technique then strength. As for Song, when he played for Arse and Barselona, he appeared solid and strong. I admit, I haven't watched him a lot this season, and I'm aware he's probably past his best, but then again, I was never impressed with Mikel's defensive work anyway. Always somehow seemed sleepy and clumsy to me, so I'm fairly sure Song would do better. I make an assumption that he hasn't lost much of his strength since his Barca days, and besides, he's 27 which is actually great for a DM.

Homegrown, good passing, good strength, EPL proven, good all around...available for under 10m as I understand? Why we even having this debate? SIGN HIM! Obviously we should't if we are pursuing other high profile targets, but as a backup plan, he's great.

If Remy wants to leave them it's a no brainer, we can't go into a season with Costa and a loaned player as our strikers. Not a lot of alternatives available while Austin is homegrown and had a great last season. I can understand Remy though if he wants to leave, definitely deserves to be playing week and week out.

Song and Schneiderlin aside, Witsel is the only midfielder available for a reasonable price who possesses enough quality for our team. If he's really available for 15-20m and Jose likes his style, hell yes!

I must say I haven't felt such a negativity towards the transfer (loan) since we signed Benayoun xD Can't escape the feeling that such negativity is not caused by Falcao himself, but from the fact that we still haven't signed anyone and that some fans are disappointed a lot regarding potential Remy departure. I feel that the right moment to judge this deal is at the end of the season, not now. I would not like for Remy to leave for anything less then 20mil, would be very difficult to find a replacement.

Posts about a player that say he's done really are boring. If Falcao does well, then we have a great striker, and if he's mediocre them we have a great 3rd choice. With settled Costa and Remy and addition of Falcao, I feel this is the strongest strikeforce we had for some time.
