Ok lets have a little perspective here guys, its the League Cup, not the Champions League, we can take plenty of positives from the game: PVA was excellent Joshy was superb Good to see Ramires get his first 90 mins Bruma played well other than the free kick he gave away Kakuta was sharp We battled until the end, with some very inexperienced players on the pitch Ok on paper it doesnt look good that we have conceded 4 at home but we have bigger fish to fry than the League Cup. Bit pissed off with Turnbull, we should have saved 3 of the 4 goals TBH, and Sturridge was AWFUL. Fuck it, its less games for us now during a busy season, back to normal service on Saturday in the league.

Simple answer, NO imo. He would be wasted there, he is actually playing better football now that he is moving up the pitch a little more, picking out forward passes (the ball to Anelka vs Wigan for example). I think he is fine where he is.

I think we are now showing that you need to be a TEAM to win trophies. Man City and Real Madrid spend stupid sums of money on individuals, but its the TEAM that laughs last.

Agreed that his start to the season has been poor, but when he was at Boro and later at Wigan, I thought he was a great player that with some decent man management, could become very very good. He plays with passion, commitment and can dictate a midfield on his day. Buy, yeah, very bad start to the season, silly fouls and so on, but he will come good I think, thats my opinion anyway. Yes, Adam Johnson is proving to be a player with alot of potential, as is Bale.
