Ok so I have waited until today to come on and give my view on yesterdays game, all I can say really is that we just werent at the races, Our midfield were so poor we really missed Essien and the sooner Lamps is back the better. Lets bounce back on Wednesday, give Fulham a good spanking. Lets hope this piss poor performance is just a one off, we really cant go into the Xmas period on a bad run of form. KTBFFH

We already have breaks and stoppages in football, injuries, subs etc, so 10 seconds isnt going to harm the game is it for a forth official to view a replay and get a message across to the ref via an ear piece etc.

Likewise, at the start of the season I would have laughed at his aim of 20, but with 6 to his name already, it could be done if we remain in the CL and FA Cup, 60+ games a season will result in alot of game time for Solomon.

I remember about 4-5 years ago, Lamps went on a run of playing 60-70 consecutive games for us, can anybody get the actual stats on it??

Oh his level of performance will never go away, I just dont see him playing 60+ games a season anymore.

Good write up. The thing with Lamps is he has an excellent football brain, he reads the game well, this is why he always pops up in the right place at the right time, in the box, or to bring others into play, he is one of the best midfielders of his kind in the world. like you say, 20+ goals and 20+ assists per season over the last 8 years or so, I for one, wouldnt swap him for anyone else in the world. Just a shame he is the wrong side of 30 now
