Its hard to say, only Fernando or AVB can answer that, but its frustrating to see him with the ball in such deep postions, he's not going to score by dropping into midfield, and thats something the coaches and AVB need to address, play to the strengths of the players.... Its not Fernando that needs to watch the YouTube vids, its AVB.

Notice that most of his goals for Liverpool are from him playing between the lines and off the shoulders of the defenders, something AVB doesnt like his strikers to do, unless your gonna play Nando out on the right or left, we need to change our formation and tactics to get the best out of Torres. When fans pay silly money that we WORK for to go and support our team, especially over the Xmas period, we have the right to show our frustration at half hearted players not performing. The TEAM is to blame, not the fans.

This game highlights everything that is wrong with the club at the moment, we have a manager thats completely out of his depth, players that are passed it, and no young players getting games, as well as tactics that just dont work. We would NEVER have lost that game under Jose, sorry to dig up the past but were not half the team we used to be under Mourinho. If AVB does make it through to the summer (and its a big if) I'd like to see a massive overhaul of this current squad, let him bring in who he wants and to play the system he wants.

Lets face it, not not likely to get decisions at Old Trafford, the offsides showed that. Although we lost, we didnt play badly, our movement and passing in the final third was something new and impressive, we havent played through the middle like that for years, and its all down to Mata, as much as Boas denies it, he has brought him in to provide for Torres and on todays evidence its going to work, Torres had more chances in this one game than he has had since joining us and it was great to see, the old Torres is back. Its just a real shame about that miss, as said the media will focus on that and not Rooneys scuffed pen or him hitting the post from 6 yards out. Torres took his goal brilliantly, more of the same please. Lets face it, Man Utd are on fire and we equalled them today, they got lucky, very lucky.
