I think Modric flopped. For the reason people thought he's in the level of the top Spainish midfielders and for me he showed in La Liga that his techniques are worse when playing with/against them, he cant realy play in the pivot because his game isnt aggressive enough and he cant be too dominant in this level. Mou didnt liked him in that position and preferd him as a CAM. As a CAM he wasnt creative enough, not even close to Ozil. If he was so good and special like most english fans claim, he would have played more and not seats on the bench all that time. i realy dont think its true. Actually, after we signed Hazard, the Hulk rumors went down for a while and then got back in the end of the transfer window but with bad sources and nothing official about a formal bid. I think most of it was BS, like the rumors about him linked to us now. We dont need a "true RW" right now and i dont think we missed it last season. Especially not a super overated player like Hulk. Im actually glad we missed out on all of those players: Pastore, Modric and Hulk. All of them turned to be flops imo.

We dont know when they are getting interested in a player. i can also assume that they moved to Cavani only when they got their manager, and they moved to De Rossi only when it was understood he'll might leave this time. Anyway its not something we need to care about because we arent Arsenal, we have the money to pay for him. We need to bring it to the level that De Rossi need to decied between us and PSG.

lol those comments make me laugh.. no one is hijacking our deals, when you dont pay ridiculous money for Cavani, Falcao or Hulk you wont get them, there isnt some line that PSG or Monaco had to pass us to get the player, they just wanted to put 60-63 million on them and we arent. You also need to understand that it realy isnt sure all those stories are completly true. nothing bad in it (if we'll eventually sign Rooney/Lewa this summer). Im glad we havent paid 40m for Modric, 60m for hulk and even 60m for Falcao. Falcao is the only player i would want in Chelsea from those 3 and i would have prefer to spend it on Cavani. This is football nowdays, sometimes you get them and sometimes its too much.

Another prospective: According to ADL Chelsea are yet to formally contact Napoli for Cavani, so the move of agreeing personal terms with the player could show that we are taking our intrest to a higher level now. Of course the sources who running this thing are the same who said we made a bid of 50m and 52m for him, whats opposing what ADL said.. so we cant belive in anything, but i do think that if there is truth in this new story, we might going to push for it now.
