In the last few hours, #PSG met with Lavezzi's entourage to try and secure a contract extension. #CFC are still interested. (via @DiMarzio)

Chelsea have been in contact with Mandzukic's agent & are negotiating with Bayern. A deal could potentially be completed in a few days (Bild) Chelsea are negotiating for Mandzukic and Bayern are in negotiations for David Luiz. The two deals do not depend on one another (Bild) Guardiola wants Chelsea's £30m-rated defender David Luiz and could be willing to agree a compromise deal with Mandzukic (Mail)

Get Mandzukic+15m for Luiz + sell Lukaku for around 20-25 = get Vidal for 40m. And we'll probably sell Marin, Bertrand, Moses, maybe Mikel and Ba.. Torres. Its amazing that we could still sell so many players that we dont really need.
-
According to Football Italia Juventus asking price for Vidal is 'at least' 36m pounds. They would consider selling him to keep Pogba.
-
Except Paulinho, still no news at all about a CM.

So I'm not the only one who follows Indykalia? I'm yet to decide if he can be trusted or not, but he's very good lately.
-
So Pjanic wont come this summer... extended is contract in Roma today.

I think there's alwyas someone who deserve it - the best team - the team who got the most points. About this season in the PL- i agree there isnt a team who really stood up, but i think that in their good moments City showed more than Chelsea and Liverpool.
-
City slipped up a lot too, in the end of the day they have the most points, did the lesser amount of slip ups. Who blow it the most? the strongest team or the weakest? if we were a better team we would have won more games. we're certainly not that good.
-
City deserve it, they should of done it a lot easier, thats my main complaint about them. They have by far the best squad, main players at their prime, and they're playing the best football on a good day, some amazing attacking football tbh. They're still not as good as the top 3-4 in Europe and i dont think THIS team (Yaya, Kompany, Silva etc) would ever be that good, but it should be enough for a PL title in this kind of a season and it did finally. No metter how their manager didnt impress (imo) and havent got enough out of that squad, its still a very strong team. We should get the right 2-3-4 players in the summer to be as strong as them as a squad.

Ancelotti is a manager since 1995. He won 2 CL titles, only 3 league titles, 3 cups. Jose has better CV.
-
yeah i saw that... though he did played Lampard and Luiz before Ramires a lot of times, which lead me to think he doesnt see him as a real starter in the future-stable team. I dont think Jose would want to keep starting Ramires in the more difficult games, and Lampard in the more 'easy' ones, like it has been this season. I think he would want it to be the same player. Thats real "stability". If he cant see Ramires isnt the right CM, so we're in trouble.
-
If you're right, i think we should really question Mourinho. Not signing a CM would mean he lost it for me.
-
I think people will change their minds about him during the WC, when he playes for a real team with real tactics and a manager.
-
Every season i hear how "CIty will be scary next season", they never are, they always prove they are not a really big team and they always struggle to get to the next level. and they are at their peak as a team. They had the best squad for 3-4 seasons, they won it twice but they did almost everything to lose it both times. Nothing will change for them next season imo, maybe a slightly better defense with a better CB, but to have better defense you need a manager most of all. In midfield-attack they'll have the same advantages and disadvantages. If we'll make the right decisions in the summer we should bypass them.
-
We cant make that gamble, not in our situation. We need to make the right calls in this moment, more than ever. getting Barkley to be the CM next to Matic and let him grow in to it is a hugh gamble we shouldnt make. We should stop buying every talented prospect when we want to be the best.
-
you dont need to spend so much for that reason on a player that isnt a top class AM. If we change someting in the AM, we should had pure quality like Rues. Oscar and Willian are better than Barkley in the 10 role so he isnt needed.
-
He wont, he playes in the no.10 role for Everton.
-
Plus Lukaku, Zouma, and maybe Courtois. Thats six changes.
-
Why signing him? because he's English? if we sign an AM, we should sign Rues who's 10 times better. he'll even cost less probably.
-
Only if we sell Oscar or Schurrle, or offer one of them to BVB in a player+cash deal.
-
I don't think you can keep call it "slip ups" when it happens all the time, and not because of bad luck or something.. we're just not good enough. It could have happend a lot more with the football we played most of the season.

I don't think we need an AM, but if we are looking, it's Rues or nothing for me.

You're right that he's very different from Aguero or Suarez, though that wasnt my point. my point was that i think he's better than Costa in short spaces, making something from nothing, handle 3-4 defenders around him and shoot.. like Jose was talking about the last few days. Falcao is inferior in link up play and passing and thats why I dont think he's right for us, but he's super dangerous with the ball at his feet when he's arond and in the box.

Mourinho: "We have good players, but don't have the kind of striker able to, in a short space, to make an action, score a goal, open the gate" Costa is great, but to me it sounds like Mourinho is talking about a different type of striker (Aguaro, Suarez, Falcao).
