  1. "Ancelotti, we want you to stay" from our fans.
  2. If you don't go every week, don't slag off those who do.
  3. Maybe if you went once in a while, you could help change that, eh?
  4. Milan.Cech, its on the back. Under the number.
  5. http://poker.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3583126/Kevin-Prince-Boateng-performs-Moonwalk-celebration-following-AC-Milans-Serie-A-title-triumph.html Fair play.
  6. Robert-Louis Dreyfus used to own Adidas and Marseille, before he died. It's genuinely thought that's why 'more effort' goes into the Marseille kits. They always come across abit special to me.
  7. From that, sounds like Carlo expects to be told either way this week.
  8. 1. Gourlay isn't the chairman. He is the chief executive. He has a voice, but ultimately does what Buck and Roman tell him too. Theres nothing wrong with that. 2. Kenyon wanted to keep Mourinho. But he also wanted to keep Scolari. Says alot. 3. We don't know that Buck and Gourlay haven't convinced Roman. For all we know, Roman may have no intention what so ever of sacking Carlo. Everyone at the club may know the situation, it may have been sorted weeks ago.
  9. I haven't really commented in this topic, because up till now, I've found it completely pointless and irrelevant. The fact that we are discussing a managers future who has been here two years and won three trophies is laughable. It also shows just how far this club have come since 2003. Lets be honest, the guys on here who have supported the club since that day could only have dreamt of winning those three trophies in these eight years, let alone two. Carlo achieved the unreal last year. He achieved and rewrote our history. If that doesn't deserve a 'second chance', what does? How many 'second chances' will you give to Guus Hiddink, Jose Mourinho or Andre Villas-Boas? 'Cos, they'd all need two or three. Just how many managers will we go through in the next ten years if we sack the ones who go a year without a trophy? To the doubters, yes Carlo has his negatives. He isn't perfect and he HAS to learn from his mistakes. But, we can't win the title every season, we can't go to Wembley every May, and we can't score 100+ goals every year. Look at Inter this year, look at Arsenal after their 'invincible' team collapsed, look at Liverpool for god knows how many years now. Success will come and go. The quality of this league is to high to remain constantly at the top. And when we lose it we have to be even more determined to get it back. As fans, as players, as a club. This isn't a case of Avram Grant, having not won anything. Carlo is a proven manager with a track record of success. He has a fantastic relationship with the players and the majority of fans. And unlike Grant, doesn't rely on his captain or assistants to motivate his squad. All that said, I think the silence from the club says a lot. There's been no statements from Gourlay or from Buck confirming the clubs position. A statement that, at times this season would have perhaps given us the stability we've craved. I wouldn't be at all surprised for this club to be manager-less (again) in a fortnights time.
  10. Sad that in the space of two and a half hours we've gone from being the reigning league champions and the reigning FA Cup winners... to having nothing. Sorry guys.
  11. One of my favourite things about football is that whoever you are, whoever you support, wherever you are from - you can sit, watch, talk and have an opinion. Like you say, each to their own. And i'm pretty sure, for as long as Kalou is with us he will divide opinion.
  12. 3 years under Sheikh Mansour. Shinawatra was a joke. The difference, we got Mourinho. City are going places though, and they will win league and European titles.
  13. Whats with the two random white bits on the back by the way? Personally prefer the current shirt. Red or no red, thats got some real class.
  14. I don't think many do want him to leave. They want him to remain an impact player, coming off the bench. I think the only person that doesn't see Kalou as that, is Kalou. Which, maybe, is why he should be leaving. There's players who have made entire careers from being 'impact' players and there shouldn't be any shame in that. He could go elsewhere, play every week, but not challenge for trophies. But Alex, I enjoy alot of your articles, and alot of the time, you've got some real talent for doing so. But this ent one of them, and calling Chelsea fans 'ignorant' for their dislike of Kalou isn't your only ridiculous comment.
  15. And 90% of Chelsea fans are happy with him being here as a substitute. They just don't want him to be anymore than that. We credit him for Watford away, Spurs in the cup, the cross at Anfield, the Stoke hatrick, Everton away this year. But thats about all, and theres certainly enough for him to be considered anymore than what he is anytime soon. I just don't particularly see the point of your article. He is what he is, and he gets the credit for that.
  16. Okay, so when he comes tearing out of his area in the first minute, takes a striker down, and gets sent off, but has a huge mud skidmark down his kit, we can expect him to get the TC man of the match?
  17. Oh, its this topic again. 25 years old, 5 years at the club, 220 games - he's had his chance and opportunities and on the whole hasn't taken them. He's an impact player, and its no coincidence that 90% of Chelsea fans prioritise signing two quality wingers this summer. What other clubs in this league would take Kalou? Certainly not the rest of the top four.
  18. Peoples criticism of Frank Lampard on here over the last few weeks is shocking. 13 goals this season after being injured for four months and its no coincidence our form picked up when Frank got MATCH fit. Well, I suppose if you need a scape goat every time we lose.
  19. So many Liverpool fans own stuff with MUNICH blazed all over it. They get what they deserve. Remember the photos of the state they left Old Trafford in after our FA Cup semi in 06? We've sung "At Hillsbrough, you killed your own fans" at the Bridge and Anfield. Not just one or two, big sections of the crowd. Also, had we won in Moscow, we'd have likely sung "without killing anyone, we've won it one time" to Liverpool. Exactly the same thing.
  20. Just wait til Sunday morning. You'll be bricking it like the rest of us.
  21. 3 years ago also that we reached the CL final. I'll never forget those two days.
  22. Class. I'll look out for you today then. Think you should stay over here, we need more like you. :blue scalf:
  23. Well, appreciated. :goodpost: You been to every game since you've been here? Great effort that. PROPER fan now. Enjoy it. Where you sitting today?
  24. Paulo was different class that season. Probably the only 'mistake' he made.
