  7. Really happy with this news. Glad to see the club take such a bold choice, and I just hope that they carry that through with patience and continuity. AVB has the talent and potential to be a great Chelsea manager, if we allow him to be. Lets hope we're not doing this topic thread again for many a year. --- Someone just pointed out to me the follow interesting statements from Chelsea over the past few years: Scolari - Ancelotti - Villas-Boas -

  9. In the 15 minute youtube interview thats doing the rounds, he talks very highly of his opposition scout from Porto saying that he is as thorough as AVB was when he did the same role for Mourinho. Encouraging. As for the assistant, i'd imagine the club would want to keep Clement on in some capacity. Emenalo, who knows.
  10. Before I go to bed, really great to read the excitement from the Chelsea fans, not just here but almost every Chelsea fan I've spoken to about this is 100% behind it. Its been a while since we've had that, not even with Torres. So, Saturday 13th August, Stoke away, every single one of us behind Andre and the boys? Lets bring that fucking trophy home. KTBFFH

  20. Was the atmosphere any better ten years ago? I'm not too sure it was. Open for debate.
  21. It's business and its here to stay. The only clubs who don't do this are those who can't fill the seats. Having just spent around £100 million in 12 months on players, can you really expect them to lower prices to make the ground a little noiser? And tbh, the 'real' fans who make the atmosphere, as people refer to them as, DO go week in, week out. Regardless of the price. There's just not many of them.
  22. Mancienne played at home to Wigan and away at West Ham that year. Other than that, your right.
  23. Made up for you Steve. Brilliant, you deserve em. Only downside is you haven't seen us lift a trophy, but im 100% sure you'll be back to do all this again. Top man. As for JT, once again setting the example. Nothing like this surprises me with him and no other player will probably ever appreciate us fans the way he does.
