Has been saying some things about next season : {Using Google Translate} Were you surprised with the news that Mourinho was coach? "I was not really surprised, I already had a few things collected. Mourinho is a good coach, if you see what he does with all his clubs already proven. But the important thing is not who my coach is, but I can play the most and the most progress can be. Currently everything is still open. I do not even know if I will go through the preparation. 'At Chelsea Mourinho was probably the topic of discussion yesterday, with four Chelsea Belgians in the selection? "Gosh no, we have not yet talked about the four of us. Honestly. Football is an important aspect of our lives, but we also have a life outside of football. We talk more about the ordinary things of life. " Is it a good thing that Mourinho coach is? He would like to work ... especially with established values "I have not heard Mourinho, I would not know. But it is logical that the bigger clubs often preferred to established values and the younger players more opportunities for smaller clubs. " http://www.headlines.nl/nieuws/100/1701357/

Also, Nastasic? Brilliant young player. I know Savic's had a great time of that swap deal too, but Nastasic has ended Lescott and Toure's careers at City.
-
Maybe he'll use him like Joaquin at Malaga, he's more or less turned him into a central player from a wide one. Navas has already been playing a little more centrally this season at Sevilla.

Yes, yes, yes. Only thing that concerns me is if we're actually opening the bid at 10m, there's a fair chance we'll end up paying a lot more than that if we eventually get him.

FWIW, I hate the Mazacar moniker as well.
-
First out the door? Sure hope so.
-
Can Essien stop referring to him as 'Daddy' on public forums atleast? Ugh, so tacky.

All of this is nice, but tell me ... can he play in the pivot?

It's just friendlies and Scolari is still new etc but Brazil look like they're going to be very disappointing next year.

Bump. I just completed my internship and I have a few months on hand till my exams in November so I really want to get round to learning a new language. I'm interested in German and Spanish. Which one is easier? I'm only really looking to become fluent in the conversational aspect, mind.

Difficult one. For me it's more about quality over quantity so I'd say The Skipper or Styles.

Even as a guy I'd have to agree

He is INSANE on FM. Buy. No but seriously, good player. Don't watch Ukraine much but from what I saw at the Euros, he'd be a good addition.

MH stand and transfer sections. The Pub's cool. Weird, but cool.

I'd forgotten just how shit this place becomes during off season.

FFP is only a bother to clubs playing or about to play in UEFA competitions. Surely Monaco will be doing so next season. I can see a dodgy sponsorship deal like City-Etihad happening. There's also a good chance FFP gets challenged in a court of law.

They picked up a few points in the end when everyone who was neither fighting top-4 nor wasn't fighting relegation (everyone but Villa and Wigan) went to sleep. Hence the eventual 12 point gap between 7th and 8th. Were Suarez's goals that got them to that phase, though.
-
I'd agree with this if Suarez had been some overpaid, underperforming idiot who'd been dragging the team down (Torres). But Suarez has scored 30 goals this season, even with all the suspensions. 30. They'd been near the drop zone without his goals. There's a reason he was nominated for PoTY. Of course they could strengthen other areas with the money from his sale. That's like saying we'll be better without Mata because we can invest whatever we get from that deal in midfield.
-
I'd say they're quite different, tbh. Muller isn't pacy and he isn't a ball-player. He is very, very intelligent though. Aware. His movement is fantastic. KdB (from what I've seen) is much more technical, much more of an on-the-ball player. Not extremely pacy though.

Stick to making videos, that is if you're the real Gilvorak.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I prefer beating good teams for a title; makes it worthwhile. United want Ronaldo? Bring it. City want Cavani? Awesome. Competition is everything. No pride in besting a league made of Fulhams and Wigans. PS. Why are Celtic/Rangers and the SPL ridiculed? How many titles do they have? More to the point, does anyone really care?
-
Isn't that why some of us want Suarez to stay at Liverpool, in the Premier League, instead of going to Madrid?
-
Did you take more pride in the Champions League semi (beating Barca) or the Europa one (Basel)?

So, internship over. Lots of highs and lots of lows but an amazing journey all the same.
