  1. Yeah read this on espnstar. Good tribute to a fantastic professional.
  2. Before anyone asks - yes, this is his 100% genuine facebook account.
  3. I hope we don't take our foot off the pedal in this one.
  4. It was vintage Chelsea from 05 wasn't it? Terry looked a transformed player once returned to a low block, able to see the play take place in front of him, not having to run backwards towards our own goal; clearing everything out of the way with authority. Oriol was great at breaking up play, constantly snapping at the heels of the man in possession. Drogba leading the line like only he can, showing yet again that when up for it, he's still the ultimate centre forward.
  5. Don't know what he's on about there tbh. Neville was extremely fair in his views during the game and spoke particularly highly of the way we played, even mentioning that Luiz deserved praise for the maturity of his performance.
  6. All these 'greatest of all time' comparisons are futile. Best I've seen - Nesta. Maldini, Riccy and Hyypia are others I admire a lot.
  7. Oriol. Is it sacrilege to say he reminds me so much of Maka?
  8. I like the system of anonymous rep. Otherwise it's just "you rep me and I'll rep you back".
  9. Must start well. Our Jekyll-and-Hyde performance disparity during either side of HT must be avoided at all costs.
  10. The article also says Bertrand will be allowed to leave on loan if we sign Alvaro Perreira
  11. I bet a lot of them want to click with Eva.
  12. I read that Posh doesn't want to leave LA. ...yeah, I read the wag stories
  13. cba to post links, will just list them out - The entirety of the Moscow final. Incredibly proud of that night's performance. Essien v Barcelona. I pretty much awoke the neighbours with the yell I let out when that went in 3-1 at Anfield in CL. Watched that with a broken leg on a hospital bed JT's goal vs Barca '05. Essien v Arsenal. We lost the league that day but boy was I proud of that team.
  14. Agree, it's an awful decision because Luiz has been booked at all. Nothing else matters when Ba strays offside as infringements to play are considered in the order in which they happen. We are the ones who should be complaining that we will have to face City without Luiz, not the other way around. Even our own fans don't see it, smh.
  15. Yes he was marginally off. All the focus on it is probably down to the media pundits' fascination with painting Luiz as a disaster waiting to happen.
  16. That doesn't even come into it though, Ba was offside. How typical for everyone to ignore it. Who does those post match interviews? Sky? Their reporter even kept asking Mata and Drogba about the decision. Cunts.
  17. Meh ... Pardew realises his time in the sun is over, wants the two extra seconds of attention before he is pretty much forgotten for the rest of the season.
  18. Pretty lethargic. Normal for a Sun eve I suppose.
