  1. Sure because, you know, Drogba starting ensures 3 points.
  2. I really like the touchscreen on that one ... it's such a smart phone, makes you feel as if you're dialling numbers on a pay phone.
  3. I know you've got it in for Torres, but didn't realise the extent of it till now. Best player on the pitch till he got shunted on the right wing, though obviously not so in your books.
  4. Alan Dzagoev. It's not too difficult. Yes if you keep posting shit links.
  5. As big as those players were, nobody comes close to what Raul meant for Madrid, as any Madridista would be happy to tell you.
  6. Where did I disrespect him? My point was that after watching the irreplaceable (ability and status wise) Raul don that shirt for the whole of his career, there's a certain aura attached to it. And I disagree about him being just another player wearing it, imo the fact that the Raul wore that shirt makes that number special, not the other way round. Maybe had Ronaldo gotten the shirt after an interval of say 5 or 7 years, it would be less of an eyesore.
  7. I only hope the manager doesn't ever repeat his earlier attempt at playing Lukaku on the wing.
  8. That's my reaction every single week.
  9. Andrew Leci on ESPN, Andy Panders for Star Sports with the usual punditry of McMahon, Shebby Singh, PJ Roberts and Paul Parker.
  10. Oh yaay, another striker feeding off Ramires and Lampard's brilliant service. Beware, City!
  11. Gets on my tits how everyone refers to Cristiano Ronaldo as 'CR7'. Raul's legendary shirt just doesn't look good on him.
  12. You have espnstar too? They always have these shit ex players to comment on Chelsea. Had Kerry Dixon on once but I suspect he was too fair for their liking, replaced by Jason Cundy next weekend
  13. Wiki says he spent a couple of years with scousers. That explains so much ...
  14. It's his usual modus operandi ... new manager, last few months of contract, so on and so forth.
  15. Yes those numbers are correct, but the real scenario is that owners are allowed to finance deficits upto those amounts. No you've misunderstood. The earliest financial year that comes under FFP's purview is 2012-13, meaning Jan spendings next month will not affect those regulations. And there's no limit to the amount we can spend on players once FFP is applicable, as long as that spending is covered by revenue earned in that specific year after taking into consideration the acceptable losses outlined, i.e 45m in the first year (12-13) winding down to 30m two years later.
  16. Too true. There's something wrong somewhere if professional athletes who've spent dozens of years in the game between themselves need someone else to "motivate" them into action in the middle of a game. There's much gripes to be held with the manager's tactics today but anyone decrying the motivational aspect of it needs to come off it. I'd rep you if I could, out of the damn things today.
  17. One question to the older fans - who the fuck is Nigel Spackman? What was his relationship with the club during the times he played here? The local broadcaster had him on as a talking head and he didn't have one good thing to say about the club or the team or the manager.
