  1. Question for those of you in the UK : I've decided to get a couple of shirts but am confused about the sizes listed. I'm about 6'3'', 90 kg (~13 stone). Is that a L or a XL over there?
  2. Don't know about being the best, but 11-12 was surely the most surreal season ever. Noone saw that coming.
  3. I think it'll be a case of Negredo having to score early on in the tournament to keep his place in the side, much like Gomez with Germany yesterday. The longer he goes without goals, the more will the temptation be for Spain to throw Torres on.
  4. Messi's good but he has to develop more to be better than Neymar. And Maradona is a cunt. Also, I scored 1000 goals.
  5. Just signed an extension. In the future, he will probably go to Bayern, that's where most Germans end up anyway. Plus, he came through Bayern's academy. You can bet they'll try to play that card when getting him.
  6. I hope they don't host the friendly, it's not like we need more Utd fans here
  7. Yeah 120k, apologies. Got things mixed up with the Eden Gardens. I don't know why we decided to shift the home India matches to the Ambedkar in Delhi. There was talk of a Man Utd-Juve friendly there in August.
  8. The one in Kolkata is (Salt Lake Stadium). 100000 official capacity.
  9. Needs to be more consistent.
  10. I think you'll find it's the former Spanish football legend Luis Suarez, not the racist scumbag playing in Liverpool. Typical of soccernet to not allude to this in their headline, designed to grab more eyeballs.
  11. Anyone from the bindippers or 'arry's crew. Vermin, both.
  12. Back on top topic unless you want to incur the mods' wrath.
  13. Like We Hate Scouse's sig says ... 'We'd sing about history if we too were shit'.
  14. Brazil - Argentina today. Too many good football games for 1 day!
  15. lmao, Xavi can say what he wants, Mourinho is already among the top 3 still in the game. If he cannot see that, he is either a)blind or b)conceited, which is even worse.
  16. I look for wages when it comes to finances, not transfer fees. Don't know about others.
  17. It's different for managers and players though. For most players, it's just a job and they'll move to whoever pays most (rightly so). For managers it's an all-consuming experience. They're much more involved in the day-to-day goings on than players and hence will stick around if they believe in the representations made by club hierarchy as regards to the direction in which they want the club to head.
  18. Because pre-tax is what matters when it comes to club's finances as it represents the actual outflow. For everyone, including Hazard.
  19. Again, that would be pre-tax, menaing our outgoings are closer to the 170-180k mark.
  20. I think we should have a year long rolling contract system, whoever is appointed. It is simply too costly to fire managers months or a couple of years into their long-term contract.
  21. I always thought he was played as more of a no.8 in Genk's second half of the season.
