thanks for your hardwork in getting the site up and running again Jim. with me i have quite a few minor things that often happen. my computer isn`t the best but for some reason it plays up most on this site. when i go to send a post. it`s about 60-40 wether it will actually send. usually the autosave thing comes up and it just gets stuck there. the other thing that happens is it`s 50-50 when i try to quote and reply to posts. i`ll hit the quote button and half the time nothing happens. is there anything i could do about that. like is it perhaps possible to knock the autosave button off. it might save my post but god knows where it goes because i can`t find it. might aswell for me not have that option i think as it just blocks me sending the post it seems. i`m not even sure this will send. one liners have a much higher success rate of sending but one liners aint really my thing.

i was looking forward to being able to chat with you guys during the game as i don`t get the chance during the season (gotta boost my post count somehow.. ) but it froze the firstrow on my `puter. sloppy in the 1st half much better in the 2nd. Marin again amongst the most impressive . i like his drive. he never seems to stop looking for space to run into and takes unpredictable angles. he may be a pint sized wingman but he` s happy to move inside and take on the big boys. in that aspect of his game there`s shades of Zola. neither side looked like they`ve taken corners recently. nice move for the goal from Piazon.played well when he came on.

welcome aboard mate. i was at that game as a schoolboy too (13 at the time)..i was in the shed. it was indeed 1-0. Chelsea v Leeds was always a bit radio rental .quite surprised a school trip was taken to such a hostile game and during the heyday of hooliganism in the u.k. -
and those are just in the last 5 years. he`s been in the tabloids for atleast 25 years maybe more.you`d think with all that experience he`d be good at his job.but i guess he is doing what his bosses want or he`d be on the joe cole.

he can play 3 positions. norman whiteside and clayton blackmore played every position apart from goalkeeper. dave webb played an entire game for chelsea in goal.his normal position was CB and sometimes FB he played in Midfield a few times too. John Charles one of the greatest players in the world in his day slipped into CB when the other team had the ball and stormed upfield to play his base position of CF when his team was attacking. the ultimate version of a box to box player. that`s just 4...there`s plenty more i could call upon. i know ever is a nice short word to use but it doesn`t have to be thrown about so lightly.

i`d like us to sign this player. i`d also like us to sign atleast one more but will save who for that players thread. seems like every thread on the site has some mention of Torres or Hulk at the moment, sometimes both.
-
sorry i don`t follow who says what that closely. but when you gave that i presume by what you saying now an half-hearted response because you are fed up of saying it. is it really surprising that others ask the question why. Joker obviously didn`t know and that`s why he asked the question and gave a reasonable post stating why we should go for Oscar now. i have no personal preference on who plays and where they do it aslong as they are the best for Chelsea.
-
you could have just said why you hope he changes his mind and stays another year in Brazil.
-
i think it was harry harris who linked us with Platini in `86 (yes, crazy stuff was written about us back then too) i do like Lewandowski tho. if we end up with him i would be happy.
-
the best two players so far have been Oscar and Oscar`s shadow.
-
Neymar man points- nil points. Hulk is down oh dear somebody put Blue Lyon on suicide watch...oh he`s up again.
-
i was just trying to post the same..that was an embrace and gestures that had "hey team mate, see you soon" written all over it.

looks like PSG are ahead of us in the pre-season fitness. should be a good game tho. plenty of talent on each side. a good test for our players.
-
lol .i`m not sure there`s many on here who have seen that Albert Finney movie. i could be wrong tho.
-
hopefully tonight everyone will understand after watching him that he`s not just somebody who is effective in the final third of the pitch but he`s a creative CM with atleast some defensive qualities too. i do believe we have actually signed him already so not concerned about him playing so well tonight and during the olympics where other teams could become aware of just how good he is.

he`s had a long history of injuries too mate. not so much major ones. but lots of niggly ones the same as Torres has had. whilst he`s been great when healthy.there`s always the risk that very soon they could catch up with him and we be left with another ineffective and expensive striker. his age wouldn`t bother me if he hadn`t had the history of injuries. he`s one helluva finisher. p.s. i`m a Sopranos fan too.. Paulie Walnuts is my favorite character tho. -
if they are keeping the news of his signing quiet to let him concentrate on the Olympics in peace. they are underestimating the british media and their desire to be the first to inform the world of what others want to keep private.

when he first came i liked him going forward but thought he was a liability at the back so used to get frustrated when people would gush over him about his super skills and forget that the most important aspect of a defenders game is his defending. he has adapted fully now though and i now rate him as a great CB. i guess the change was gradual but it was Benfica away where i was really struck by the vast improvement in his defending. all those needless rash tackles fouls had been ironed out of his game and the timing of his tackles and positioning now are superb. cost me a fortune tho as i was texting back to the u.k that Luiz is playing like Maldini. it`s like since Cahill was brought in he has become a new all better player. love the guy to bits now. a great attitude to life and i get the feeling he`s a real good guy to have in our locker room. foreign players can be nitemares for some clubs, with there being a rift but ever since the likes of Erland Johnsen arrived we have had a great chemistry between foreign and british players. Dennis Wise always made everybody welcome and let them know they were part of a family and free to express themselves and JT has kept that tradition going.

good call from Blue Lyon there. i`ll go for Rambo tho..

Manuf`s point he was trying to make is that just because RVP is on 60,000 or any large amount you want to say, doesn`t mean that he is immune to stress. alot of people make the presumption that money solves everything and that just isn`t the case atall.including stress. e.g famous people are constantly being watched and their life is everyones business in the media`s eyes. some people say Eric Clapton don`t have anything to have the blues about because he`s white.famous and rich well his toddler son did fall to his death infront of his eyes. money don`t take away his pain. you see it everyday, people just want to become famous thinking it`s a dream life..sometimes it may be but i`m sure it`s a nitemare sometimes too. ask JT.
