ah right. yeah it is important Jose understood this. aslong as we don`t go the liverpool route . i hope the ones we bring in are as mentally tough as JT and Ashley because unless they stay at home and do jigsaws for fun.they will get dragged through the shit by the media.
-
depends on what you mean by still need more for. if it`s to satisfy the minimum requirement of 8 we are o.k. JT,Cahill,Ashley,Sturridge,Bertrand,Moses,Turnbull,Lampard,Hutchinson makes 9. even if Josh leaves on-loan. that is of course presuming we will sign Moses. we meet the requirement without signing him tho.

Victor has lived in England since he was 11 years old for the record. 10 years. so he strolls through the homegrown rule criteria.
-
he counts as home grown on the basis that he has lived in England for more than 3 consecutive years since before his 18th birthday. the fact he has now played for the country of his birth Nigeria at senior level does not effect that. Lukaku will qualify as "homegrown" if he stays playing in England for another 2 years for example.

they were saying on SSN yesterday that via blabbamouth Whelan we are currently at the £9m mark with about £6m of that cash upfront and the rest in add-ons. Whelan said last week he would accept £8m plus £2m in add ons.
-
that would induce me to Riverdance in joy. fingers crossed it comes true. tho hopefully 40m Euro`s instead of pounds sterling.
-
JT tackles tougher than most CB`s when he`s just in the garden with his kids.
-
i know if we sign him and the kids want his name on the back of their shirts.they can fook off. too risky and too expensive with all those letters!
-
although i`d prefer him to stay around as a squad member. if he is to be loaned. Werder Bremen would be one of the best destinations possible for many reasons.
-
yeah i saw earlier on SSN that they have changed plans and are trying to get a deal done before the Olympics now. as i said a few days back he is underestimating the british media if he thinks he will be left alone to concentrate on the Olympics. looks like he understands that now. for once the media has done something good for CFC.
-
like i said somewhere either in this thread or one of the other CF themed ones. he would be a good alternative to Cavani because although he`s very good player he`s not yet a big name so Torres wouldnt get his knickers in a twist because he would believe that Lewandowski isn`t as much a threat to him as Cavani. i personally think Lewandowski could end up banging lots more in for us during his chelsea career than Torres will but atleast for a season or two he would be back-up and we could atleast all things crossed get some return from Torres in that time.(or try and offload him next summer if he fails).
-
robbed the clock of cavani`s wife ...well that`s nice. is it a cuckoo clock?

I`m a bit open for the counter attack i know..:

Modric is in a bind no doubt. he needs to get his side of the story out in the press as much as Levy is twisting things via his ventriloquist dummy villas-boas.
-
SSN`s reporting via blabbamouth Whelan that there`s been some further talks with Chelsea regarding Moses. via the Tv channel SSN that is.
-
Ron Gourlay you bucket jaw`d beauty. so we can get Oscar for cheaper than Moses. atleast in money paid upfront. haha sweet.
-
it`s 25m Euro`s. the british media just using their usual trick of putting the £ sign to get people thinking we are paying more than we actually are. i think it`s really about £19m. i think you`ll like him once you`ve seen him play a full game. the highlights video posted up earlier is great to see for his end product but he covers far more grass than just hanging around the final third.
-
it appears he will sign by the end of the week. he can play any of those positions but personally i`d play him alongside Mikel as the deep lying creative midfielder and rotate him in and out with Frank. he moves all around the field. always making himself available for the pass and moving it on. whenever i`ve seen him play for Brazil or for his club pretty much every attack has had him involved at some stage. he will have more passes per game than anyone else at CFC. he reads the game very well and controls the tempo. although creative and quite slight he will act responsibly in his defensive duties. an example of this could be seen in the recent Brazil v GB olympic warm up game. Marcelo bombs forward Oscar slides out to LB to cover the hole Marcelo has left just incase it breaks down.

Tottenham have been doing it for years.they will drag it out till the last moment,so once they have sold him they won`t have time to spend that money on a replacement. if selling Modric to us wasn`t something that would have led to their fans turning on him. he would have sold Modric to us last season on transfer deadline day and `arry would have sat in his car talking to the press all day till his car battery run flat.. about how there`s "one or two deals in the pipeline.." and that he`s going go off to see the chairman but doesn`t actually leave the car park..just circles around ready for the next 10 minute update on what`s going on at Tottenham on transfer deadline day.

Run Luka Run. can`t blame the lad.he tried to be decent with them they took advantage of his decency. he fooked off. hope whoever eventually signs him gives them as little as possible to make it even worse for them .
