our strikers (and goalkeepers) are the least to blame for our current woes. those are on our midfield ,defense and Jose.

does the media making shit up make the club idiots? I know we are doing a good job of it ourselves but not every transfer rumour has anything in it..

offer them Ramires and cash. no need throwing multiple midfielders away and then needing to sign more..Ramires is the less needed.

of all our players out of form and that`s almost all of them apart from our new signings who get a pass and have atleast shown something. Cesc and Bran are clearly the worst. atleast with Cesc tho I think it`s just a rough spell..need to atleast give somebody else a go until he gets his mojo back and bring in another option before the window shuts. nobody should be undroppable regardless of how bad you are playing.

I have wanted us to keep Kalas around for last season (I admit at the time I didn`t think Zouma was ready to contribute the way he did,tho I didn`t and don`t see him as the black maldini that some fans seem to think he is just yet) and even more so for this. like always when I think we are making a mistake I always hope I`m wrong rather than CFC suffer because of it. but when so many Chelsea fans were saying stuff like,he`s better off going on loan where he can play every week,he won`t get enough games here etc.. wouldn`t everyone love to have Kalas now at RB with his added bonus of being able to provide depth at CB? I know Azpi should be the RB and Baba the LB and that would be better than what we are currently doing at the fullback positions but what if Baba takes time to settle..we may be able to sort out the RB spot but then LB would be exposed..either way,even if Baba hits the ground running,we will be back to our current state if one of them gets injured. we could really do with Bran getting back to being a good option at RB with the ability of adding cover at CB but I think it`s fair to say he isn`t gonna get back to what he was in the past. Kalas tho can be that man and if we can`t find a suitable player before the window shuts we really need to do whatever it takes to get Kalas back.

I did type out a long post on what I think we need to do but not all of it was "throw the baby out with the bath water" kind of stuff. so I`ll give it a few days. people go crazy during a bad spell and somebody being able to keep calm during these times is like pouring oil on a fire. I`ll wait till all that are boiling have had chance to simmer down a bit.

nobody is in good form at the moment.if we are to comment on who isn`t we should really be commenting on all of our players threads apart from Baba,Pedro and Kenedy. possibly the keepers too..

I looked on his wiki page (I know...) and it said his favoured position is left wing but he plays mostly at CB..so that explains the Luiz similarity for me...

they miscalculated how bitter and twisted a low level Spanish midfielder turned small club manager could be. I would say this transfer window has been a success if that deal went through. Pedro,Begovic and hopefully Baba was a good pick up. there`s atleast one player coming before the window shuts I think. I would have kept Kalas around and maybe one or two others but I put that on Jose. perhaps a 6 or 7 out of 10 so far. not great but could have been worse.

I`m gonna take binoculars to goodison to see how Jose and the weasel are on the touchline..should be prime time viewing.

in Swansea he is known as El Judas after repeatedly saying the only way he would ever leave them was if the club fired him but then requesting to leave for Wigan. at Wigan,despite Dave Whelan saying he would be kept for atleast 3 years even if they were relegated when he signed.after leading them to relegation and Whelan standing by his word he requested to leave for Everton and Whelan immediately accepted. as a player,despite playing for 7 clubs I can`t find any information regarding him ever commanding a transfer fee but know he never did during his 5 moves within british football clubs. he is known to have been angry at team mates who left for bigger clubs. just a bit of research and already known knowledge on Martinez. but paints the picture of him seeing himself as being the only one allowed to have ambition.

I`d rather edge our bets on 2 or 3 players for that price..there`s no such thing as a sure hit in the transfer market. but If our manager wants somebody I always hope they get them.then they can be judged by their choices more accurately.

can`t say I`ve seen much of him. but I presume somebody at the club has and 15m tho once our record signing price when we got JFH, is not so much in todays market. is the kind of price that doesn`t add too much expectations and be able to move him out if it doesn`t work out..we need one more defender this year but more in the next few years. Kalas hopefully counts for one of those.tho I`d be happy if we had him now.

transfer window should shut prior to season starting. clubs wouldn`t be able to drag their feet for so long then when open to selling a player.and if somebody gets injured early only teams with big squad depth could cope without being able to raid other clubs. so teams like Everton would suffer. Everton only signed 3 players prior to the season starting..they have signed more since.

was initially thinking it would be about wrestling so would have gone for Branislav..but he`s too slow.the others would catch up or avoid him easily enough. I`ll go Ramires..run all day and night,i don`t think he would be good at killing others but they would kill each other and the other player left would be too tired to put up much of a fight at the end. Costa would have the most kills and JT the hardest to kill. great movie btw,another take on Lord of the Flies...tho wouldn`t want those prone to take ideas from movies too serious to watch it.

Bayern does the most damage to the competition in the transfer market in Germany. can understand why the lesser teams let their players go to them for the cash but when it`s teams that are genuine rivals it`s suicide. I know sometimes teams like Dortmund have had no choice because players have run down their contracts but they should if players won`t extend their contracts with 2 years to run then sell them to foreign clubs.

look at their transfers and targets this window. that shows the ambition they have. ambition comes at a cost and they haven`t as far as I`m aware paid in full for Lukaku yet. a homeless person can have ambition..and right now in football terms that is the level Everton are at. big clubs with big ambition.don`t keep players against their will.

Costa isn`t gonna play every game in every competition even if he stays healthy so it`s premature to think any of our back up strikers are never going to get 90 minutes. not expecting much from Falcao,don`t expect him to be with us next season but if he can contribute here and there and be some insurance incase Costa misses some significant time then it`ll be worth it. I wouldn`t have signed him personally..but still don`t class it as a waste for one season.

I thought this thread was gonna be about some obscure Alternative music band and posted in the wrong section. like a splinter group from the band Gorky`s Zygotic Mynci or something..

hope to see him back to his best.and he`ll need help to get there,but no doubting his quality. a few bad games is normal for all top players.
