Very much agreed! Hazard is the cream of the crop of his generation of footballers. Those that are in their early 20s. He'll be one of those players in the future that people discuss with the Player of the Year maybe with Sterling when the time of Messi & Ronaldo come to an end. This is why I've given up on expecting any names from our academy are making it to the first team. Every season we have a player that we think will be the one to break through. Swift, Feruz, Piazon have all in the past been touted as 'making it'. Other names like Conor Clifford were expecting to break through. What's the point of the club being excited by winning the FA Youth Cup & European success when the players from those squads end up in the Championship lol.

Ah what could've been if we'd have signed Modric. If he stays fit this season, everyone is going to remember how much of a beast he truly is. He was unlucky that he was injured for a lot of last season, because when he's on form he is truly one of the best midfield players in the world. I'd love it if Chelsea could prize him away, as we had with Maka. But I'm sure Rafa will understand the importance of the Croatian.
