  1. I don't actually think Eden's off to Real next summer. When have Chelsea ever sold a player in the last decade that was one of their main XI? Past players have only been sold because they weren't in the picture in the first place and the money was right; Robben, Mata, KdB etc. It would mark a dark day when our hand it forced, a predicament we haven't faced before. United kept hold of Rooney by throwing more money at him, the reason Ashley Cole, Nasri etc didn't stay at Arsenal.
  2. Lowkey, Vardy is actually a good player. What's unfortunate with him is he's now 28 and he may have missed his opportunity to really go any further. This goal run he's on is incredible and deserves respect but I don't see him progressing any further. He'll do well to stay at Leicester and maybe make one more move to a more consistent PL club in the future. Vardy shows what confidence can do to a player, he's on the form of his life and it would be great if he continues to keep going.
  3. Yes but his training methods keep his physique superior. There's no reason he can't keep going for a while longer, he'll eventually have to come off the wing into a striker role.. There's no denying what he brings to the team, imagine Hazard and Willian flanking Ronaldo up top.
  4. It's so boring lol. Come on Jose, head in the game.
  5. Le Saux comments well out of order, wtf Jose.
  6. That game was calling for Remy. He showed at Stoke that he's in the right positions, he would've got loads of tap ins with all the work Hazard was doing today. Mourinho's stubborn stature comes into it again, since when is this man so weary of dropping big names?
  7. That's all well and good Tomo, to talk about megastars like Ronaldo when they have a slump but in this moment right now Costa isn't putting in the performances expected of a player in a world class team. His movement and willingness to make any kind of run has really gone down. That's not a under appreciation, that's calling out facts. Yeah, on song Costa is a fantastic striker, but the amount of chances that went away yesterday because our undisputed CF can't be bothered to make a near post run was awful. We should've killed off Norwhich long before Costa scored.
  8. At this stage, the points will do regardless of how we acquire them
  9. Said the same about Willian and now it's a wankfest in the Willian thread lol. Let's give him some time if we gave Willian the same.
  10. Lmao what a non-story. These former presidents will say anything to try and get re-elected or generate some publicity.
  11. Don't know what's funnier; the rumour or people actually rejecting the second best player in the world..
  12. Yeah I kinda guessed that, couldn't actually remember if that's one of his attributes
  13. We are quite lucky in our history of free kick takers that we've usually been a threat from a direct free kick. You had the wildcats like Luiz, Alex, Luis but also the ones who were precise like Drogba, Lampard, Mata and now Willian. Not forgetting Hazard and Oscar.
  14. What do you make of Zouma's ceiling of capability? Reckon he can develop into a world class CB?
  15. Hahaha back to Emenalo hey, poor guy can't catch a break
  16. True but he was always a bit raw when he came to Liverpool. He didn't really get a chance to learn how to carry a team, Suarez didn't stick around and they haven't really got many other attacking players. Under Klopp maybe he's now got a chance, this guy worked with Reus, Gotze and Lewandowski remember. Rogers trained fucking Allen. What I'm saying is, at 23, he's still got a chance to prove himself as a consistent player and quickly mature. He's got the ability.
  17. I like Coutinho. Think he's slightly wasting away at Liverpool, but will be interesting to see what Klopp does with him. Can hardly blame the 'pool fans alike, he's their only shining hope after losing Suarez, Sterling, etc as their creative outlets. Think he'd do well in a team where the pressure isn't on him. Was impressed when Is saw him turn out for Inter not too long ago as a 19yo.
  18. Yeah it's true, but in the case of Rafa it'll mostly be more rapid than not - With the fans anyway
  19. Hard not to sympathise almost.
  20. Yeah but tbh, who does have consistency? Wenger aside, who else is sticking around longer than 5 years lately? No clubs in the PL right now. Once Wenger goes that's it, even Arsenal will rotate managers on a 2-5 year basis. I say this with the opinion of still wanting Mourinho here as well. But I'm not buying into this whole stability argument as a reason to keep him, I'm saying he's the best manager for us and that's why he should stay. Consistency means nothing if it's continuous failure.
  21. Fuck me, this is embarrassing keeping him at that level.
