  1. That's true. I suppose that will come with experience then, using his smaller stature to his advantage. This can only be achieved in a loan club though, this I'm convinced about. Though I can understand if we're reluctant to do so.. Wonder what's happened to Connor Clifford too.
  2. I noticed Villas-Boas playing him in a deeper role yesterday. This allows Lampard to still play at the top level, without exerting too much energy while being an ideal substitute. He can be the Paul Scholes of Chelsea (minus the kissing of Gary Neville), if he's willing.
  3. Just read that on the website.. Delighted. I though Rajkovic would be dismissed instantly and sold off because he hasn't played here yet. But Villas-Boas has given him, his rightful, chance to shine, which he's taken well. He definitely deserves to play for us in the Premier League. Now that we've shipped off Bruma for 2-years, Rajko will be a good youth defender to have.
  4. Cheers Alex. Missed the game, so good detailed report as always. Hope someone posts a download link soon.
  5. Anyone got download links?
  6. Is there still a dispute between the nations who'll take part?
  7. It's time for Torres to repay that trust we're placing on his head now. The club is placing a lot of trust in him by not signing another striker like Aguero. Even if we sign Lukaku, it won't be to dislodge Torres' place in the squad. So now he has to prove he's worth this huge risk.
  8. To be fair though, and usually I wouldn't make this comparison, Jack Wilshere went on loan to Bolton & it did him the world of good. With Coyle's guidance and his own talent he was able to instantly walk into their first team and make an impact. Other youngsters have done the same, for example, Tom Cleverly. It would be great for Josh to go out on loan and make the same impact at such a club, however I think it's too early. I'd really like to see him bulk up a bit.
  9. It'll be weird seeing this thread locked and finalized after 3-years.. Back then there was 0% chance of him joining City. How times have changed.
  10. I'm very surprised at that. A very talented little footballer. Hoped a bigger club than Malaga would chase him.
  11. I suppose it makes sense, from that, why they delayed until now..
  12. David Luiz or Nemanja Matic... I know who I'd want.
  13. Indeed. However, they are survived by their enormous revenue generation. That's why their marketing & advertising initiative has been awed around the world. We're on our way to that stage, of course we have a few years to go to maintain our brand, image & stature, but we're on the right path. Everything we're doing now, the Torres signings, the Asian tours, stadium branding, ect. It's all contributing. It's why United are allowed to keep making such transfers. Everyone knows their debt (which, to be fair, it's their own fault ) but like Barcelona, they're safe from FFP.
  14. Aha! That's true.. Everybody's a winner
  15. happy for you Justin. You have your own thread to demonstrate how much you indeed do love this man
  16. If that's true, Hamsik's ours for the taking!
  17. LOL he's not "on the verge of completing" his move. It's the same quote, with a different heading to try and attract more readers.
  18. It's not that simple though. Don't forget it's Essien's third major injury on the same knee. It's not something the club can risk, expecting him to make a full recovery.
  19. Rate them highly, but Jimmy-Eidur, for me, clicked better. Definitely third on my list though!
