  1. None the less, it's well known a reason for his departure was the failure of new owners to give him a pay-rise promised to him before they came in xD
  2. As an England fan.. I don't personally like the midfield trio of Lampard - Barry - Milner. Even though Milner had, what I'd like to call, his best game in an England shirt, I still don't rate him that highly as a player that should be starting. Still a good player though. Personally I'd love this to work, Lampard - Wilshere - Gerrard Rooney - Young Carroll That being said. Lampard's (although he can make an awesome come back) position will come under much scrutiny. However I could not see the combination Cleverly - Wilshere - Gerrard working. Maybe Henderson could come in, but again it looks shaky. I geuinely don't think England have a player who's ready to step up in Lampard's position once Wilshere and Gerrard come back. But who knows.. Cleverly could prove me wrong.
  3. Indeed. Negredo is on much better form, even Llorente is. Torres, of all players, knows how much competition there is for the NT, even the bench. It's up to him now.
  4. I agree calling him a legend is a over the top. But you can't deny his class in a Chelsea shirt? He may not have been how he was in Germany but was certainly important.
  5. Yes, well said mate. Unfortunately, the hate is misplaced.
  6. Does anyone know if he's in the u21 squad for Spain tonight?
  7. Didn't someone say that all that's just a front & that he's not as strong as people think? I think it was DYC.
  8. Thanks for the info WHS. It's good to know they once actually stood for something and embraced (or should I say, not generalising,) other Muslims who didn't support such ideas. I'm glad you got out of it too, and there is nothing wrong with having right-wing views as long as you respect other cultures, which indeed you do.
  9. Ignore him. It's an honest mistake and why not talk if there's recent news, i.e. David Luiz talking it up.
  10. No clue. Having spoken to a Liverpool fan though, he was on £35k at Liverpool in the old admin, and was promised a raise once new owners were in. However they declined to do so, and that's [apparently] a factor in him leaving (no matter how much he denies). From what I've heard (hearsay) it's around £80-85k/
  11. True post. A lot of people take their education for granted and don't realise that's what will get the jobs in the future. Again, some members of BNP and EDL are quite illiterate and blame other faiths because they realised they've failed to give 2 sh*ts about their own future.
  12. I agree. I didn't want to say it in such a way that would offend but you're completely right. They do the jobs that British people sometimes feel they're too high class for anyway! And they work harder and for cheaper because they know what it's like coming from rough. I work with a Polish guy who is so grateful for the job he has and never takes it for granted & I've never seen a British person ask for that job either.
  13. Oh, so much for that theory then :\
  14. If Real sign him.. Di Maria is up for grabs
