You probably thought WTF, because the first game he played after United signed him, (for Fulham), he scored an own goal against us I think Wilshere will be given the eventual armband too, because he'd be the most senior youngster when the new crop come through. The future England does make me optimistic, but I don't know if they're strong enough to compete either.

One good thing about Meireles is he is an avid follower of the "pass-and-go" movement. Something we really lack..

Metresacker is also very slow. With Arsenal's high defensive line, he will struggle to adapt.

No way can we use Miereles and Ramires in the same team. It will have to be: Mikel Ramires/Miereles - Lampard Otherwise, it's simply too negative. If ever there was a time for Lampard to step up..
