  1. 2 strikers? I think we'd play Higuain at the top of the attack, flanked by Sturridge & Mata. I believe Villas-Boas always plays a lone-striker.
  2. Oh I think I misunderstood your original post lol.. I agree, that's the appropriate goal.
  3. Clearly.. Alex has slipped down the pecking order at the club. He'll probably be sold. Then, Ivanovic is a back-up CB. Leaving Bosingwa to leave us vulnerable down that whole flank. This is why I believe we're chasing Gary Cahill. To keep Terry sharp & on his toes.
  4. I liked it. It did slow down the site a lot though, but if that could be improved, I don't see it as a problem. Loads of forums have a Chat Box and still remain pretty active..
  5. One year-extension policy. As United do/did with Scholes & Giggs.
  6. This summer we tried for Modric, Pastore & KDB. Secured Mata, signed Lukaku (who was already heavily-in-demand). The policy is good. The pace is not.
  7. Lol yeah, but a draw would've left holes there & panic was already setting in. Gronk's goal was special too, the goal itself was a beauty
  8. Yep! We earned our fortunes with the football we played.. Didn't get randomly picked as City did. Had that 'billion pound goal' not have gone in, Roman may have bought Liverpool!
  9. Yep, definitely see where you're coming from there.
  10. xD I could never hate him because I loved his name! Zenden did though, I'll agree there
  11. Fully agree. Villas-Boas needs the time he's been promised!
  12. Your examples aren't strong tbh.. The Scolari one I'll give you, but that wasn't just John Terry. Wasn't that needed anyway? The England case, well we all know that wasn't a coup. In fact if anything, he was answering questions which everyone was scared to. He didn't 'take on' Crapello or even question him, the media destroyed him, despite putting him up there. Hell the so called captain Gerrard didn't even do media interviews, of course Terry would step up. You have justified the claim he should 'move on'. I agree about dropping him if his performances are weak ect. That is what makes the 'untouchables' lose that status. Not making a player of Terry's calibre leave. We're not United where we have an abundance of talent to step up even. Rooney was kept on when he questioned the ambitions of the club wasn't he? If anything Terry would help AVB's cause. Forcing him out would reflect so negatively on the squad, this I can guarantee. It would have the opposite reaction. Villas-Boas said he's not the bully type.. He wants to work with the players. Fergie has his way with players, Villas-Boas has his. Because we don't have any talent to take their place. Purse strings tightening up perhaps..
  13. How on earth does Terry hinder André's authority on the squad? Questioning his performance I can live with. To suggest he should move on from the club is the most absurd claim I've ever heard. And people complain players don't have any loyalty and here we see people wanting one of the most loyal to move on. I'm completely blind-sided how you and Jones came to this conclusion. Please elaborate..
  14. Can't see the justification for Torres over Drogba anyway. We know Torres is an emotional wreck.. To play him v. His old club would've been a disaster. I like André's rotation. Keeps the likes of Terry fit.
  15. He works hard for the team, this undeniable. He'll be the first to admit his performances haven't been up to scratch, but he'll keep going for 90+ minutes, beyond the call of duty. Not for a long time will we have someone so hard-working for this team, for his team.
