I really hope so. Arsenal fans are getting so cocky now, they're even talking about 3rd place!! Are you f'cking kidding me, 3rd place?! No. This cannot happen.
-
I'm glad someone put this on YouTube, because he's dead on. The smiles and everything made me sick kind of. I don't expect them to act all depressed but they should show a bit of respect that they've just had their 8th manager sacked in 9 years..
-
Yup, heard it too.
-
We say this after every good performance though and it just doesn't work. His confidence has been down ever since he's moved here and it's barely improved. He doesn't play with any confidence in front of goal now and it doesn't look like it's coming back. (Thought I'd address that here, not in the post-match talk)
-
I'd still say the same as the post above. I do appreciate the efforts of Kalou, but the rate he gives the ball away is too much for me.
-
Yeah we do, but the manager still needs to assess what he's got at his disposable and then make the correct decisions. There are players who will be here through that overhaul and the replacements need to be carefully considered & sought out. The club's lack of clear negotiations will be hindrance in that so we'll end up with a majority of this squad still being here unfortunately.
-
What's the difference? One's got 11 goals to his name this season. I wouldn't say so. Malouda will put in a shift if he's in midfield, on the left. He's less wasteful than Kalou, imo.
-
Well, at least now people will remember the true Kalou. Let's hope this ends for the calls for his inclusion.
-
Yeah. It's like, I do feel sorry for him and of course he's a Chelsea player so I wish him well. But it's just like "yeah, it ain't happening.. Again," so it's like we're getting used the crap performances we're getting and there's no point in analysing it. Every game, we see the same thing, even if it's a slight improvement, it's just not enough. So yeah, it's the same sh't till June and we should just get used to it now. Hopefully Di Matteo will just throw Lukaku in there now.
-
This makes me proud.
-
It was a standard Torres show. We're lucky we can find goals from other sources. As Slam Dunk said, I'm bored of him now, we've over-psycho-analysed him in so many ways possible now. I'm at that point where I'm just like "yeah, meh" when I hear of him.
-
Torres seems almost furious when Brana & Mata asked him to take it, it was weird. Did anyone notice Meireles' lack of celebration after he struck that ball. It's like he scored and he proceeded to get back into his half, ready for Birmingham to kick off. It was a muted celebration and I think it's a clear indication of how he felt about dealing in the last few days. Anyway, it's a performance I pretty much expected. The "José Mourinho" chants at the very beginning were comical. The squad played how I expected it, still quite a few gaps and we're lucky Birmingham are as weak (in terms of their squad) as they were. I'm happy for Di Matteo, he really was lifted by that win and I hope it allows him to fill the squad with good moral going into the weekend. He'll have his eye on Napoli the week after, so I expect some more rotation to happen.
-
Which means the new coach will have barely enough time to evaluate the needs of our squad too.
-
Tell him he's a legend.
-
Rotation imo, but I'm fairly sceptical at the moment so I'd naturally say that. Plus, it is the FA Cup.
-
Seems like 4-2-3-1 to me. We'll see how the game progresses.
-
Terry's back on the bench, already?
-
We have Didier Drogba in our team, Tioté's an angel in comparison.
-
I don't think we need someone like Tioté if I'm honest, I'd go as far as to suggest his Nufc team-mate Yohan Cabaye. Essien will get another season, Romeu will still be here and you're right regarding Mikel. I have a feeling Mikel will be kept on too. Cabaye is more suited for us because he's a perfect central midfield player who will be the player to play in the 4-2-3-1 formation, or whatever we play that will require 2 holding players. Cabaye & Romeu can provide an excellent partnership with Essien coming off the bench, for either player because he could play each position. Ramires is also a player who could play as part of that duo & Meireles.
-
Time to move on. Still furious. Done with reading rumours/speculations/Mirror 'exclusives' about the build up & eventual departure.
-
I found myself singing 'One Di Matteo, there's only one Di Matteo!' in my mind today. Wish him the best, hope he makes an instant impact tonight
-
Exactly. There are more pressing issues regarding positions in the squad that need filling.
-
Lol Rogers, fair do's. Thank you 'arry, don't even want you here, made me happy with ruling yourself out Hoddle would be nostalgic, who knows about his managerial abilities today though.
-
This. It's not a fickle reaction as fan to criticise a player, but praise when he does good, that's recognising efforts of the player.. We do it with Kalou all the time. Why is there an "told you so" feeling when this happens?
-
Not even 'stand up' more like 'stop befriending'
