  1. It makes sense H&L are going to try and get Chelsea to stay, we provide them a lot of money by staying there. This clash of projected finances should be interested.
  2. http://www1.skysport..._medium=twitter
  3. Exactly. Everything Justin likes about him is what we liked about André. Style of football, achievements with his current club in both league and Europa. But we all know it's the same story of what will happen to him.
  4. Yeah they do. That was André's plan though, so who knows what RDM/New manager would do. Ranieri/Mourinho brought Cech straight into the squad when they signed him, albeit because Cudicini picked up and injury in pre-season. But I do imagine he'll be back at Chelsea for our pre-season and will be given his shot.
  5. I can't remember if it's Navas or Llorente, but I remember one of those had the chance to move a couple of times in recent years but didn't because of a rumour of persistent home-sickness.
  6. Any word if he's been given a raise or anything?
  7. Hang on. It's been almost a week and Frank Rijkaard's name hasn't been mentioned?! Dear god, this job really is cursed if he's not linked
  8. I like his ambition. The rise of Courtois will certainly encourage him to up his game.
  9. I wouldn't say that, he's been quite solid when I've seen him in reserve and cup games.
  10. I hope this new age marks the return of our spirit & soul.
  11. It was interesting for me to read that in Bilbao's team, all but one of the players was Spanish-born. It would explain why they can play they way do, everyone can understand each other clearly and I'm sure Bielsa can speak Spanish having coached in Chile.
  12. That's fine, but he just seems André mk II to me because 1. He's getting Bilbao to play passing, attacking football 2. He's going far in the Europa League & 3. He's having a good season, in his debut season for Bilbao. Noting he came from int'l management too. I don't see his appointment happening because of those similarities. Also, Bilbao's squad tonight, all but one player were from Spain. This makes it easier for him to communicate whereas with André we had a suspicion about him favouring the Portuguese players. He may look like an authoritarian, but he looks like a man who'd be underwhelmed by Roman & the board.
  13. I'd like it noted.. André played the same way with Porto in the same competition last season. Just sayin'
  14. I think everyone realised as soon as he did that goal celebration where he went right up to the camera.. Didn't even need to admit it, everyone knew "he's doped up"
  15. Javi Martinez is a brilliant player, watch out for him tonight if anyone's watching the United game.
  16. Reminds us of another Argentine who demolished England like that once..
  17. You know footballers are subject to drug tests right? No I don't think all those things make a majority of who he is. He's phenomenally talented and that's nothing to do with the drugs, that's through hard work, trainings and an element of natural talent. I think it's criminal to downplay this.
  18. People clutching at straws. He had a growth deficiency, and it's not like he's one them continuously, it was a round of dosage when he was like 10-years old or something.
