  1. Yeah exactly, and he doesn't like how the new administration is treating the old one. Pep is a man of principle (which is always admirable) so he won't commit to such injustices in his eyes. The exact reason why he won't come to Chelsea. He'd have seen how ruthless this board is, he will, even if he comes he'll continue to sign 1-year deals. Now this is idea for both clubs, saves us a big compensation pay out and allows him to cover his own ass. But a. We won't like that & b. He simply won't like the challenge of Chelsea. I don't know who'd actually want to come here. Fat Waiter only, because he has no options and after Inter his reputation is pretty much ruined.
  2. I would cry if Scholes came back. Not because I think he's bad, he's excellent, but this should be focusing on future England. It's bad enough we made a 31-year old our new captain.
  3. I'm glad Kakuta's being allowed to play in his natural position behind the striker! I hope he's not made to be a winger when/if he returns to Chelsea.
  4. Lmao no way. I think he'll stay put at Bayern. They're a club who are at the top of their game, with good competition in BVB.
  5. Where do catch your Bundesliga games? ESPN shows like 1 game a week :\
  6. Well that would go in "AVB out?" surely.
  7. I'm not suggesting he was a bad coach, but he wasn't great either. We did well in our first season to win the double, he did well guide the players because the players were still in their prime and of age. There's already a lot on this forum about the reasons Carlo shouldn't have stayed beyond when he did so I won't go into a lot of detail.. His second season showed is true colours. His soft approach was taken advantage of and he just showed he could change things, he couldn't inspire and after Wilkins was fired the extent of this became really apparent.
  8. Agreed. Some of them are just so repetitive, like the André ones. We have 2 main threads for Villas-Boas. One discusses his potential firing "AVB out?" and one discusses everything else about him "Andre Villas-Boas". Player profiles are there so stories about that player can be posted there
  9. It was a f'cking awful thread because Carlo Ancelotti was clueless.
  10. Takes on Sevilla today! Should be interesting, Sevilla are on a good run at the moment.
  11. Disgusting. Nothing but malice in that challenge.
  12. Couldn't agree more. He's spent so much time not playing, he's come to value when he gets to. Unlike most our players he doesn't take it for granted, playing the game he loves, so when he's called upon he'll try, try and keep trying.
  13. Because Dalglish is the media darling and can do no wrong. He's also a 'legend' so Liverpool fans will love him, even if he'd get them relegated.
  14. stop making me more angry with this club Jai!
  15. Exactly. This is total bullsh't, the lack of sight this administration has to recognise the obvious player mutiny. Which should only be responded to by telling them to either put up or shut up. What a stupid preference this board has to the players than managers.
  16. André was smart to negotiate that. I don't know what top-class manager will ever want to come to Chelsea after this..
  17. Exactly. It's the kick up the ass these players need, though let's hope most of these guys won't be here next season.
  18. But we got really lucky. No-one anticipated Tottenham's surprising form, which puts them third, whereas last season they were going head-to-head with City for 4th. Arsenal just about clinched 3rd, because they followed the Arsenal cycle and started flopping from Feb. We were lucky because, yes we were winning some games in a sh'tty fashion, but it does make sense how the players have declined.
  19. Exactly. Look at Liverpool, they went through a total Europe bar. Their fans are now behind them because they see progression and they sense it's only a matter of time because of the investment put into their squad! While we need Europe for our own financial stability, it doesn't mean we can't come back into that competition next season.
  20. LOL look at all you guys jumping on Danny's back after one bad performance. Smh.. He's scored more goals than Drogba & Torres combined. Put a sock in it.
