I'm a bit indifferent towards Cucurella at this point.
I don't feel he's been as bad as made out and would be decent under Pochettino but equally I won't lose any sleep if he does go.

To explain how garbage our buys have been I must elucidate this point by rating our transfers of last year.
Enzo- potentially world class but was bought at a peak after World Cup and may never live up to his price unless he brings us a couple of CLs and PL domination.
Fofana- perpetually injured and will never be worth his price. Would be a steal for 30-40m if we waited till Leicester got relegated.
Mudryk- a PR fantasy. To overpay for a winger that arsenal weren't willing to match, from a war torn country to come and wave his flag the first day he arrives. Worth the 70m for sure...?
Cucu- I really liked him at Brighton and he looked electric when he came on for the first time. It all went downhill from there. I don't get why we would spend 65m on LB backup when we desperately needed to strengthen other areas.
Sterling- Once a 🐍 always a 🐍. Time and time again he's proven he just wants a pay packet and we will probably be his last before he moves to midtable team or retires.
Badman- looks good when Silva is holding his hand but ALWAYS looks shaky when he has the ball in front of his area. I have anxiety that this guy is going to cause a goal.
Koulibaly- We got soooo effing lucky the Saudis bailed us with this one. All of Italy is probably laughing at us after Lukaku and this guy over consecutive seasons.
Madueke- looks like he wants to be a gangster but can't even take on a man (AS A WINGER). This guy just runs into people, he ran the ball out of play the other day for England U21.
DDF- says it all when lampard didn't even give him a chance and played Auba for the last few games. This guy will never be PL standard.
Auba- I shit my pants when we bought him. Nobody saw this and thought 'yes, exactly what we were looking for'. Still we had to bankroll Barcas attempt to undermine every single one of our main targets somehow.

Boehly didn't purchase Lukaku for a record fee when all signs pointed it being a disaster.
Boehly didn't ignore the midfield for 4 years.
Boehly didn't mess up Rudiger and Christensen's contracts.
Boehly wasn't in charge of that disaster 2017 transfer window which set us backwards for years.
Boehly was the one responsible for giving extensions to dross like Rahman and Bakayoko and Batshuayi?

Lots of things to blame Clearlake for but to pretend it was all sunshine and rainbows under Roman is a lie, especially towards the latter end. Lot of the issues we are seeing now are because of the former regime.
I'd keep him for the sole fact Chiwell too has been poor. Hall inexperienced but showed the most promise.
Let all three battle it out during preseason. Too many passengers.

It's strange how you're dismissing Pochettino for "not winning a one team league" yet in a previous post praise Ten Hag who failed to do the exact same thing.

I really don't like this board anymore. People just defending the stupidity of the leadership. Am I not allowed to criticise boehly without people comparing how much better he is than the old leadership?

Tell me you are clueless without directly telling me you are clueless. Christoph Freund never even joined the club in the first place. He was in the running for the position but in the end nothing came of it and the club went on to hire Winstanley, Stewart and Vivell instead.

I usually don’t address these things publicly, but you have had multiple people tagging your posts for racism and winding up members. There is a gangster look, I really don’t think a head band is the be all, end all of that look. I really would not think he does look gangster, but it is a subjective call. As to the wumming. I went back through your posts and it goes all the way back to when Frank Lampard 2.0 was about to happen. You thought Frank would help us to improve. That is the last positive post about the club or the owners. You are allowed to have your opinion. You have demonstrated you can give that opinion without turning the players names into slurs. If your posting style going forward is mostly negative toward the club and turning players names into slurs, you will not be posting at this site. It is a site for fans of the club to discuss the club, the men’s team, the women’s team, and the players. If you have a criticism of any of those things, that is fine. Just make that criticism without abusing the players or people running the club. There are plenty of fans that do not care for the owners, but we should be able to voice that without being abusive about them.

Yes I knew all along who you actually meant but it sure was fun seeing you finally get there. Glick had fuck all to do with running the sporting side of the club though, he was just some marketing man in a suit.
Not sure if I'd blame the owners for the Glick situation either. He arrived to the club with decent credentials to his name but how were the board supposed to know he would turn out to be such a cunt who doesn't care if his former employee is guilty of sexual harrassment or not? In this day and age that kind of thing is not okay and he rightly ended up paying the price and lost his job because of it.

Like Mudryk improving dramatically this season, I’m expecting Sterling to do the same. Don’t get people wanting him out. The agenda against him is weird.
He can be a key player under Poch.

Him and Kepa leaving as well would be the cherry on top in terms of outgoings.
I was talking about it in general with regards to PSG's dominance compared to those in Eredivisie. No side is head and shoulders above the other in the latter, so it makes sense that a number of teams have a fighting chance of winning the league title.
Just look at what the Englishman with a Dutch accent did over there only a decade or so ago.

No, people are just surgically dissecting your positings and you don't like being challenged over your hagiographic revisionism along with your near doomsday level pessimism for the present and future.
    simples

We have all (or almost all) have had massive goes at Boehly, when he WAS FUCKING UP, but atm we truly seem to have turned the ship around, and more than a bit.
Steep learning curve, but it is ludicrous to say the club is destroyed atm.
IF Boehly had not hired any actual football directors, and attempted to run it all himself (along with the Clearlake lads), then yes, I can envision how the club would be destroyed, but the bloke is not a fool, he is a damn sharp businessman with previous sporting experience who is learning the footballing world, and in that learning curve he resigned as Sporting Director 7 months ago.
    to paraphrase:
Rome wasn't destroyed (or set up to be entering a decline cycle of several years in our club's case) in a day, and it won't be rebuilt in one either.
We had enough good inertia built up over 17 years to wrench out another CL win and finally win the World Club championship (and the Super Cup for the first time under Roman), but the club was massively fraying at the seams, starting with the UK Home Office denying Roman his visa years ago, which lead him to pulling the plug (heartbreakingly) on that monster new incredible 'Gothic stone temple to football' stadium.
Combine that with some horrific contract management and too many shambolic buys, and the writing portending a decline was already etched upon the wall.
Almost all the monster clubs who were monsters when Roman bought us (so remove Citeh and PSG) have had (or are having) issues.
    Barca
    Juve
Pool ( a long period of decline after they scaped their CL in 2005, until Klopp came)
Manure (they have been a trophy wreck overall since Fergie left and if not for Moscow and Terry's slip, they would be on a 25 straight year run of no CL finals wins, and ONE in the last 56 years, and only TWO ever 'best team on the planet' claims in 146 years of football, and that is even being generous, as they lost the 1968 Intercontinental Cup over 2 legs to Estudiantes (led by the great MFer Juan Ramón Verón, Juan Sebastián Verón's father) following their first CL/EC win in 1968)
Arse (on the rise now after a LONG period of massive decline)
    AC Milan
    Inter
Ajax was already no longer a top massive club anymore when Roman bought us.
Plus Bayern almost lost the league, and are not remotely close to the machine that won the CL in a trot a few years back.
One of the 2 new monsters, PSG have never won the CL and are in a hot mess with Mbappe, Neymar etc atm,, and lost Messi. I do suspect they fix themselves, but nothing is guaranteed, especially that first CL (look how long it took Citeh).
Only the other new monster (Citeh) is riding high (as in top of the heap), along with Real Madrid (if they freshen it up and make smart buys, which they very likely will).
Even Real had two massive gaps between being the top club on the planet.
32 years (from 1966 to 1998) with no CL final win, and then, after winning it 3 out of 5 years (1998, 2000 (and they and Manure were hammered in the 2000 FIFA World Club Cup, neither even made the final, the only two European teams ever to not even make the final), and 2002) 12 more drought years (2002 to 2014) as well, despite INSANE Galactico spending in the noughties whilst chasing La Décima.

I actually agree with this, he did play way too much but maybe thats because most of the team looked like they didn't care and at least with gallagher he ran around the pitch and tried to put the effort in.
@OneMoSalah At no point did I compare the two players quality wise.  Mount is a far better player and there is no doubt about that.   I was simply saying that Mount ran off to United at the first opportunity he had.  All this talk of pulled contract offers and things going on behind the scenes but at the end of the day, he was an academy player and he could have signed a 12 month deal with the club with a release clause in place.   At least that way we could have planned for his departure rather than frantically trying to sign 2-3 midfielders.
Compare that to Gallagher who kept on saying that he wanted a chance at Chelsea (whilst he was on loan at both West Brom & Crystal Palace).  I get that his first season at Chelsea wasn't the best but what did people expect from him?   Maybe with a coach that has done well with youngsters he'll be able to grow his game and be a possible goalscorer for us off the bench.
