TT should share 50% of the blame if we fail to get top four. We might have been 9th when he arrived but we were only a few points from top four. Only 11 from top when we're 19 now. We've thrown away a lot of points against teams who were struggling with form or in the bottom half of the table - Wolves. (H) Leeds(A) Southampton (H) West Brom (H) Brighton (H) Arsenal (H) 14 points dropped in those games. No getting away from it, TT has had plenty of time to have us. comfortably in the top four by now.

Brian Clough would take the lads out for a couple of beers tomorrow to help them chillout and forget about the last week. No motivation talk should be needed on Tuesday. Just go at them like a pack of rabid dogs.

3 years ago I remember a Croation Chelsea fan who'd watched Kova his whole career, say that he was a gifted player but one who would frustrate and flatter to deceive. He was bang on!

I think we need to put things into persoective. Its been an incredibly difficult, tiring season for all teams. We're not really that great a side. Some good performances here and there but a lot of pretty average stuff too. A lot of our players having average or below average seasons. Top goal scorer has 6 goals. To get into the CL final, F A Cup final and still be in the race for top four, is more than good when you take those factors into consideration. I still be happy enough with just top four, but obviously winning the CL would be massive and almost as unexpected as the first time we won when we were really struggling in the league. .

After this gruelling season, i'm just hoping its a bit of mental fatigue asking the players to focus and be up for three different competitions. Do they go all out today and have not much left in a few days time? The picture is a bit clearer now. Tuesday is simply shit or bust so they have to throw the kitchen sink at Leicester. They might have another one of those games where nothing goes in, but I fully expect a much better performance than today. I think we'll win and by a couple of goals too.

Another player who is rated so much better than he actually is. Decent technical ability and world class at dribbling past players around the middle of the pitch. But that's it. Both him and Jorgi have had long enough to improve the midfield but we're still seeing the same short comings that were there three years ago. Not bad players, just not good enough to take this team forward. Same can already said for Ziyech.

Was a tiny fraction of a fraction offside tho. Fuck VAR tho. Its spoiling the game bigtime.
-
Oh no.
-
Come on guys, that's one of the best saves ever in the Cup Final.
-
We could play Darlington and struggle to beat them if they scored one goal. Season long problem which TT has shown no sign of being able to fix.
-
We will beat Leicester on Tuesday in that shit or bust game.Absolutely convinced about that!
-
Yes, but keepers pick up knocks too. I would have played Mendy against Arsenal, buy I'm OK about playing Kepa today.
-
It actualy doesn't look like we sold 6000 tickets.
-
His treatement if Tammy has been unfair. I would like to see Jorgi and Ziyech moved on too.
-
This is a big game but the 3 we have left are massive games and TT is just saving Mendy for them, which I think is the right thing to do.
-
Good goal that. Nothing Kepa could have done about it. We don't have anyone in our team who can shoot like that.
-
Nice back pass to the Leicester keeper there, Azpi.
-
Extra Time written all over it and we need that like a hole in the head.
-
Liverpool have hit form and should comfortably win their last three games and be certain of top four. Looking at the crucial goal difference between us and Leicester, we are +1 over them. If we beat them by just one goal we could lose to Villa by one, and still get top four if Leicester failed to beat Spuds. A 2 or. 3 goal win for us against Leicester would put a lot of pressure on them for the Spuds game.

Yep! Jose being the only manager in the RA era to last longer than two seasons, proves your point. Ridiculous way of running a club, but we do things differently from other clubs. But it has worked and that's what its all about at the end of the day.
-
Sure he'll want to give all his starting 11 some playing time. Our players will be a bit tierd but they do have five clear days off before the final, so they should be well rested and ready to go by the day of the final. Probably just very light training and working on tactics during the week.
-
You might get some if we lose both Finals and don't get top four. Also, being on a short contract I thought that might put him in a bit of trouble with RA. But there's talk about him being offered an extension, so it seems like his position is probably secure for next season .

James made him look like he was running the clay and James is not exactly a Werner, when it comes to pace.

Its really not a reaction to just one bad result! Fans have been moaning about pur stodgy midfield for three years now. Added to that, this sessson we find our top scores have a whopping 6 goals and not one goal scorer in the top 40. That is a staggering level of under performing and i can't remember a season as bad as this in that area of the team. We've become a team which relies entirely on keeping clean sheets and we end up with huge problems whenever any team scores, even really crap ones, like on Tuesday. Yes, brilliant to get to some finals, but longterm this football under TT is unsustainable and has zero chance of winning the league.
