  1. We might need power, but not in the position Fellaini now plays in. What we need is power AND technique in the double pivot.
  2. He didn't at all. We played two up top, Drogba and Sheva both coming wide when needed.
  3. Everyone loved Sheva. Only thing Torres has on his side is age.
  4. They wouldn't need all of EC to build a stadium. What CFC are essentially saying that not all of it should go to houses being built, as potential commercial activity could be lost.
  5. We won't be able to play the 4-3-3 effectively on a regular basis. If we do want to maximise the 4-3-3 we'd have to drop Hazard from the position he's most effective in and drop Mata in a similar way, as they really aren't as effective out wide. Playing those in a 4-3-3 would automatically turn the tactic into a Christmas tree formation. For the best effectiveness in a 4-3-3 we'd have to play Marin - Torres - Moses, but I can't see us dropping either Hazard or Mata. The 4-3-3 would however be perfect for Ramires and Oscar to an extent. Ideally we'd make a hybrid between the 4-3-3 and the Christmas tree formation... But it'd be hard to achieve that.
  6. If you still think Fellaini is a DM you've obviously completely ignored him over the last few seasons. He doesn't play that role anymore. Might make a rare appearance as one but the majority of his appearances have been behind the striker or just as a pure B2B midfielder.
  7. People call Ronaldo a selfish player because he's like it on the pitch. That's just how he plays, but no one criticises his personal life. No one actually knows him to do that.
  8. http://cfctruth.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/all-eyes-back-on-earls-court.html Article and some new news regarding EC.
  9. Mata just needs a rest, he hasn't had one for years, that's why he looks tired. Doesn't mean he's unfit though.
  10. It was well covered over the media, but the media tried to put a twist on it basically and now everyone thinks he's had a fling with Bridge's wife, which has been denied by Vanessa anyway, when they weren't even together anymore.
  11. Bullshit. Why do people believe everything they read!
  12. Of course someone will try to defend themselves. It's not like a male will come forward himself when he hasn't been accused. I agree with Muz, don't know why women devalue themselves in throwing around false accusations when they were clearly the ones who instigated it, money is like the female Viagra. Anyways... Back on topic.
  13. What Kakuta doesn't have and what Piazon does seem to have is the mentality to succeed at the top level. Kakuta might be naturally more talented, but he can't seem to marry that talent with the right mentality to succeed yet. That's why I think Piazon might be able to make it at CFC.
  14. Terry is a club legend, Malouda isn't. Terry in 3/4 years will obviously be at the end of his career, he'll have reduced wages, his influence to the squad is far more beneficial than Malouda's ever will be, whilst Malouda can still play at a decent club as he'd still have 2/3 years of okay performances at a lower repped club. Cold truth.
  15. Because he rapes goalkeepers and the goal.
  16. Rightly so. JT would take a massive pay cut if needed, and he'll still be a rotational option still. He wouldn't be at the club to waste it's money after being offered a way out like Malouda. The amount JT has done and achieved for us is in no way comparable to what Malouda has.
  17. Well yeah short term wise it's more of a loss for us, but I'm talking about long term wise. Samsung miss out on being sponsors on a top five European football team!
  18. Well, Samsung's loss. If I were them I'd renegotiate a longer deal with a bigger payout because I'm sure we won't renew with them after the contract expires.
