  1. Very valid point, but like I said, we can manage without him for a couple of months. If he really doesn't want to stay for at least 4 months then I say let him go.
  2. Suddenly, Raul is everyone's love child. If he wants to go now, we'll let him go. It creates space for us to get a more important player in later on. We can manage without him.
  3. So you'd rather have Lescott, Toure, Richards, Smalling, Jones, Evans or Rio in your team than JT? Lol. We'll just leave it there.
  4. So, Terry wouldn't get into the United CB pairing over Rio, Evans, Smalling or Jones? City's pairing of Lescott, Toure, Richards or whoever? Arsrnal's pairing? Tottenham's pairing? Liverpool? Say something. There's no delusion in that what so ever.
  5. I'd go with something like Kojo's team (apart from Romeu instead of Mikel but we all know Kojo hates Mikel). We need to penetrate QPR, get at them straight from the get go. A front 4/5 of: Torres Hazard Sturridge Moses Ramires - Mikel Cole Terry Luiz/Cahill Ivanovic Cech Should achieve that. I like the dynamism and pace in that team. If we're struggling to keep possession or lack that playmaking perhaps throw Oscar on instead of Rambo.
  6. But what about when a player constantly makes daft decisions? Why is it different for certain players and a manager?
  7. I'm kind of glad the majority think Piazon is overrated and that he isn't rated that highly, no ones really expecting big things from him. Keeps the pressure off the kid, allows him to build upon the decent talent he has already.
  8. And still the importance of our captain to the defence is continually under appreciated. JT is still our best central defender. We look twice better at the back when he's playing. JT would get into every PL starting line up, without a doubt.
  9. Yup, he could really use the next two weeks to rest up. Hope he doesn't have to report to training either.
  10. Still have the slightest bit of faith in Kakuta. I think he's good enough to be a squad player at least here, just needs to put his ability together with the right mental attitude. Wish him luck at Vitesse.
  11. Lol, I can't believe I actually trashed Ryan 7-0. Sorry mate.
  12. Final squad after summer 2012 transfer window: GK: Cech, Hilario, Turnbull DF: Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Paulo Ferreira, Luiz, Cahill, Terry, A. Cole, Bertrand. MF: Ramires, Lampard, Mikel, Romeu, Malouda, Oscar. FW: Sturridge, Torres, Mata, Marin, Moses, Hazard.
  13. Yup. Pretty much how Jose tried his best to fit Mikel into the side... Same thing might happen to Oscar. Let's hope it's different this time though.
  14. Nah I know you didn't, it was more of a general statement to this thread than anything.
  15. Wtf? No one is making excuses for Torres. It's just one game where he didn't get any service at all, that's fact. Even Falcao wouldn't have scored for us on that day, that's how poor we were. Falcao isn't even the type of striker that can pick up the ball and create chances for himself - he relies on decent service himself. The difference between Torres and Falcao though is that Falcao can take the half chances that come his way a lot more than Torres can. He creates goals in that sense but no way will he bulldozer through defenders and smash it in top corner like Drogba did. Most of Falcao's goals are in the box. Everyone needs to stop getting their knickers in a twist. It's one game where Torres and the team performed shit, people are just pointing out we didn't create anything worthwhile in the match. Doesn't mean we're making excuses for him again. Perspective guys.
  16. I was just responding to the claim that Mourinho's team has never been beaten heavily. I think it's way too soon to write off RDM or this CFC team. Remember that we have new players waiting to be fazed in, so it's unfair to completely judge this team over a couple of games where we've been alright. I'd say we'll see what we're truly made of during Christmas time. Roll on this season.
  17. Because he wasn't brought in to help Eden settle. He's a decent young player, we'll see how he develops.
  18. Lies. Remember when Barca thrashed Mourinho's Real team 5-0?
  19. These Turkish guys spamming the forum... I think registration should be temporarily closed plus their accounts should be deleted.
  20. Signings are irrelevant when they aren't performing!
  21. My point is that the team was so bad in the AM game that not even Falcao would've scored. Not saying Falcao wouldn't score with us generally, of course he would, he's a top striker.
  22. The Count is right. If Falcao played in that team yesterday for us he wouldn't have scored either. Torres had what, 1 half chance? Maybe Falcao would've taken that but the point is that having Falcao wouldn't automatically turn us into world beaters.
