I bet he won't have one single red card this season. I think he's only had 1 red card in the last 3 seasons, which isn't that bad tbh.
-
Very true, but can't see them getting in there ahead of Arsenal or Liverpool or United.
-
Again, Jose also said a few weeks back that Willian was a player for the sides. Willian will still play plenty of games on the wing.
-
Not necessarily. Willian is good with both feet regardless, so it doesn't really matter.
-
They aren't, and that's because they have very average CBs. Still can't believe they haven't brought in one or two top class ones.
-
It's not really about the bigger games though tbh, the RVP-Rooney-Mata combo up front will bag them lots of points against smaller teams.

1/2 - Chelsea/City 3 - United 4 - Arsenal

Terry, Hazard, Costa all get paid well over £100k a week, he isn't in the same wage bracket as them at all!
-
Mikel has been a good squad player at CFC for 8 years now, £75k for a solid squad player at a top club is reasonable. Doesn't matter anyway, whether you like it or not Jose's made his decision, he's staying. Whining on an Internet forum won't change that.

Everyone is back yup, I can see a few get some minutes.
-
Irrelevant. He was abused by fans at West Ham.
-
Mourinho so said that Willian is better coming from the sides so he counts Willian as a winger too.

I'm looking at their squad now and they still have a better team than a lot PL sides. Sure, they've lost their spine but as I said, they've replaced well. Tadic and Pelle are great replacements forLallana and Lambert. Koeman isn't a bad manager - Chambers won't be missed as they have Clyne. Bertrand is not a bad replacement for Shaw... If you look at their potential starting XI right now it's not too bad at all, especially if they manage to hold onto Schneiderlin and Rodriguez: Pelle Tadic - Ward-Prowse - Rodriguez Wanyama - Schneiderlin Bertrand - New CB - Fonte - Clyne New GK Unless Koeman can't bring it together... This team is too strong to go down IMO. Still a lot stronger than half the PL teams out there. For me there is no threat of relegation for them.
-
That RVP, Rooney, Mata forward three is going to be very interesting for United next season.
-
Southampton can spend lavishly, not only have they sold excellently, they also have a billionaire owner. They can get much better players than our u21s.Edit (not to you specifically but to those who think Soton are struggling) - plus add to the fact that they've already replaced Lallana and Lambert with two equally as good players in Tadic and Pelle. They really won't struggle as much as people are saying they will. Bertrand is an ok replacement for Shaw, Clyne is still there so Chambers doesn't need to be replaced... That's pretty much 4/5 players replaced - they're fine.
-
The thing that restricted Romeu's chances were his unfortunate injuries. If we're talking about young loan players coming back I could give you a great example in Courtois - who was remarkable in his loan spell and is now challenging for the number 1 spot.
-
He has, but his back to play game, technique and his first touch is still miles ahead of Lukaku's.
-
Actually, a team has to register 8 HG players in a squad of 25, hence why a team can only register 17 non-HG players. City have at least 6 if you include players that are not in either XI like Scott Sinclair or Micah Richards (7 if they want to include Boyata), so they're much better off than us. They can nearly fulfil the whole quota and have a near full squad of 25 (excluding u21 who don't have to be registered) whilst we only have a squad of 20 with 3 HG players in JT, Terry and Fabregas (4 if you include Moses who is very likely to be off anyway). Of course it doesn't really matter because Jose likes his squad to be a small number of around 20, and we can (for now) fill up the rest of the extra squad spaces with u21s who don't need to be registered, i.e. Zouma or Ake.
-
You really don't need stats to prove that Drogba is still at this age technically superior to Lukaku. People have eyes.
-
Forgot about Richards. Boyata I can see going though tbh, but yeah that's at least 6 HG players (Richards is club trained too). They're a lot better off than we are.
-
They have Hart, Milner, Clichy, Sinclair and Lampard. 5 HG players. More than us which is quite funny.
-
Agreed, but I was hinting more at their squad depth tbh. They have more than decent players in almost every position.
-
City still have the strongest squad, by far...

Romeu isn't a Chelsea Youth.
