I've watched him quite a bit recently and he's really turning his talent into productivity lately, some excellent performances. Eredivisie is perfect for his development. Interested to see whether he gets a WP next year. Could make it as our 5th choice AM IMO. If not, loan him out to a slightly tougher league like France and see how he does there.
Someone who had a big part to play in his countries WC + Euros victories cannot be seen as a big game flop IMO. It really isn't his fault that we set up the way we do in big matches.
Inter aren't that bad though, they've got some good players in Icardi, Kovacic, Vidic, Hernanes, Handanovic etc. Just need a few pieces here and there to be competing again IMO.
Like I said, he's missed quite a few big games. Above are the ones he has been involved in and they are just examples of how he doesn't shy away in big games and that he's actually been decent.
I wouldn't adverse to selling Oscar and getting in a creative number 10 (who isn't tactically naive and obviously stil has decent work rate) in someone like Isco - and then let Willian be our defensive CAM/cover or competition for that RW spot.
"He's nothing like Willian" they said. "You obviously haven't watched him for Fiorentina at all if you think that" they said. Honestly wasn't happy about this signing but still, have to support and hope he comes good. As I said before as well - it'll take him some time to adapt to the PL but I automatically got shot down for being a naysayer for that as well. I do actually believe he could possibly be a valuable squad member in time but we'll have to be patient. I don't think he'll ever fully secure that RW spot ala Hazard on the left though.
I'll never understand why people have short term memory like this. Before the last 4/5 games or so Oscar was playing all the time. You can't tell me someone who has clocked around 2000 minutes already this season isn't getting consistent playing time.
Why should I? IF you're going to air your views on a forum, anyone can reply to it. There isn't some rule against it. I've read what you've said. Nothing wrong with saying EL is Mo's level currently, that's my point. It really isn't an insult to him because there are players better than him that play EL football.
